I was trying to allow people not to see it if they didn't want to. I also thought most people would know what trypophobia was.

 

I wasn't talking to you specifically. The twitter thread has gone through a 'ooh, what is trypophobia? I googled it and found this!' thing before, that's why I wanted to address it before it got out of control. Not many people know what trypophobia is, and some people are not nice and try to trick unknowing people into looking at pictures of it (not saying that was you, but I've seen people like that before). Some people are also easily triggered into phobias temporarily, no matter if they knew they had said phobia before or not. The safe and polite thing to do for everyone is not to discuss phobias in detail and post pictures here, as it could also be considered spamming and could lock the thread. Anyway, it's over now, let's move on! .

You can craft items and these items have upgrade slots.  These upgrade slots can be found or crafted as well (just like items).

 

The various component slots of crafting are a particular type, and materials provide a different benefit depending on what type of slot they are being put into.  Same goes for upgrade components that are crafted.  With the right crafting materials (of sufficient quantities) you can make items that really "go deep" on a particular benefit.  Or you can spread out the benefits to make something more balanced to a variety of situations.

I love the loot system. It looks so cool and we get stats of what we take from a chest immediately.

And we can open the rifts too, cool.

In the Gamescom presentation, they show the Inquisitor looting a large axe off an Avvar and immediately equipping it.

Just saw the ign live demo, interesting power the inquisitor has. Forgot name but it vanishes demons in the area back through the rift or veil tear.

I must say, DA:I looks better and better with each presentation. I'm little bothered with plants going through Inquisitor, especially those big mushrooms. Other than that, it is absolutely gorgeous.
