If we had to describe the #DAI experience using only a photo... #EAGC
I didn't see this one
Dragon Age Keep @DragonAgeKeep 1h
Did you know the city that visits Dragon Age Keep the most is Chicago? Shout out to our Chi-town friends! #keepfactfriday
I NO LONGER FEAR HELL, FOR I AM IN IT.
Watching people play #DragonAgeInquisition and listening to their personal stories and hearing what #BioWare games means to them was special
Best part
It is a million damned degrees in this place. I emphasize 'damned' because TRULY THESE ARE THE WAGES OF SIN.
Simple conversations (the name of the system) exist to complement full conversations, not replace them.
They're used almost exclusively for light dialogue, usually lore-focused and for light exploration-focused quests. Some of them are more complex in animation than the one you saw, though they're intended to be focused on giving the player ways to engage in dialogue that don't pull them out of the world and into full cinematic scenes.
To be clear - conversations that are simple conversations exist because that system exists. They give our writers the ability to add content that the player can engage with at their own choosing without it having to be compensated by cinematic design time. They're easy to implement, easy to interact with and easy to disengage with at the player's choosing.
More writing content is always a good thing. As long as the cinematics are not reduced, and the main conversations are done as always, which is awesome, this new feature is just giving us more development/story because it is cheaper to develop. It is very important in this type of game, thanks!
Hey @Cameron__Lee, what's that you've got there? #EAGC
SpoilerCameron Lee @Cameron__Lee@dragonage Oh those are the nominations from some lovely people. We ended up winning their RPG of show award
Lol indeed I do. Both of us looked like death warmed up over here.
Room hit 30 even with two fans going. Sent my team home before people actually started dropping.
I should feel bad about the no A/C, but I haven't had A/C all summer and it's been 90+ every day

Where is your Maker now? Literally making us sweat to death
Game will be delayed by one extra day due to team drowning in their own sweat

@PatrickWeekes @Mike_Laidlaw Seeing the inquisitor called a "Herald of Andraste" in videos. Not asking for spoilers, but I hope (1/2)

@PatrickWeekes @Mike_Laidlaw this isn't something we necessarily have to embrace. As a Vashoth or Elf, we may not believe in that. (2/2)Mike Laidlaw
@PatrickWeekes Well, either it will suck or we accounted for that. Time will tell.

Okay, thank you for replying to me
. As long as the 'full' conversations are still the majority and not a rarity in DAI, it's all good.
Yay I can actually hear Scout Harding's voice and the conversation she has with the inquisitor! (if someone already posted this I am sorry)

Privileged to have spent the last 3 days at #Gamescom showing #DragonAgeInquisition to #BioWare fans new and old. Exhausted now but elated.
Is Scout Harding really voiced by Ali Hillis?

Not gonna lie, Mike's reply made me chuckle.
In the Gamescom presentation, they show the Inquisitor looting a large axe off an Avvar and immediately equipping it.
I have just the one question. Can we preview the crafted item? Say I want new gloves for my armor, and I craft it, but it ends up looking ugly as hell. Is there a preview, so that I don't end up with this kind of a debacle?

Guy in our test level is, appropriately, sweating! Too perfect!

Interesting - now that I've seen the cards in-game, I may have to splurge on the Inquistor's Edition.
Good luck with that. They've all been sold out for a while.
Loving all the new info and screenies!
Hell no to the Inq Edition for me. I'll take my slightly more expensive than normal edition and stay happy. ![]()
From what we saw of the crafting screen, it seemed to show the item to the right hand side. I assume it's a real-time model of the item being crafted.
Yeah, but what I was wondering about specifically, is whether, when adding gloves to an armor, it will show the armor with the updated gloves, or simply the gloves, or it won't show it at all. There'll probably be a preview, but I wanted to be sure.

*gasp* But...tarot cards! And other wonderful, shiny things. Our household has 2 of these pre-ordered, on 2 different platforms.
