  *gasp* But...tarot cards! And other wonderful, shiny things. Our household has 2 of these pre-ordered, on 2 different platforms.

 

I don't have the money to afford these things even if I wanted them at the moment. /life

 

Consider this- a friend of mine who previously bought me Titanfall this year will also be purchasing my copies of Destiny and AC:Unity with his own money out of kindness and a desire to co-op/play MP.

 

Only games I have preordered is Inquisition with a few of its bonus in-game goodies and the Master Chief Collection cause thats four games for the price of one.

 

Unless someone wants to offer me an opportunity to get paid soon, I'm afraid special editions of games, or just games in general, are gonna have to be put aside for me.

When watching the IGN demo, try using Voice cancelation if you have it on on your computer, you have a better chance to hear what the characters are saying as well as game sounds. The sound effects drown out the voices to a degree. The one on IGN's website it better, the youtube version is a wee bit distorted.

Saw the video and its freaking awesome! I just don't know why the foliage looks blurred when the combat starts or during fast moving scenes. Its not just dragon age but other games as well. Maybe some problems with video compression?

Is Scout Harding really voiced by Ali Hillis?

While not confirmed by any means, it's definitely Ali Hillis.

No worries. The gaming industry is actually the last thing that paid me;half of what I have in my bank account right now is thanks to the kindness and opportunities presented by the gaming industry. Its not much;its all I have. But I figure, why not give back to the industry that gave me half of what I'm holding on to right now?

 

I used to be really generous when I could afford to be. I miss that. So I'll be generous with what little I have, hoping that another opportunity presents itself in the future.

I think they tweet either on break, lunch, or when things are loading.  sometimes its a lot right in a row like they are on lunch, and then sometimes theres hours in between them

You apparently don't understand how creatives work. Or how stress relief can boost production and performance. Or the value of team building.

this thread, the game in general and the world itself, would be worse off if everyone at bioware(and everyone DA:I related) didn't tweet. and it goes without saying that some of the devs sanity would be improved if the masses couldn't tweet back lol

There are many things that take a bunch of time at work. Just copying a game build can take 10 minutes. Other activities take longer. This process that I am running here is going to take 15 mins or so. E-mails are up to date, so let's see what is going on in the forums. Although, reading a bunch of the Twitter posts today makes me think that I should get a Twitter account.

 

Facilities just dropped off a fan in my office, after noticing that I was sitting at my desk with an ice pack on my head. I think that will let me hold on another hour or two.
