So far, no new news of the specializations, huh? Oh well, I guess they are still balancing and finalizing them. :/

Which we weren't supposed to.
Plus, they could still keep their content secret.

A little more detail on gaining XP in DAI...
http://gamingbolt.co...el-cap-detailed
“They key is to not have a cap. When you arbitrary just stop getting experience, it honestly kind of sucks in my opinion. The way experience is granted in Inquistion is as you tackle monsters and going after things and as they get too low level for you they stop granting you experience. This is a fairly standard RPG mechanic and by the time you’re capped out and no longer gaining experience, you’ve killed some of the toughest stuff in the world,” Mike said.
“You’re probably done with the game because you’ve killed almost everything, so that’s kind of our approach. It’s more of a soft-cap and there will be a point at which you stop leveling up somewhere.”

GamingBolt have had a few of these articles now, it sounds like they just did one interview and are stretching that out into a bunch of different news stories. ![]()
More interesting is the statement that their coverage is ending soon - wonder if that coincides with Destructoid's embargo, and the supposedly big announcement?

Cameron Lee also did an interview with MMGN about DA: Inquisition and the legacy of the fan backlash towards ME3's ending.

Yeah, GamingBolt seems to be wrapping every 3 sentences Mike says into an article. ![]()
Watch the "Big Announcment" wind up being they finally figured out how to make Varric a blonde again... ![]()
It's also funny seeing the screenshots I took from the demos winding up as links in another article...

Has far has I know only Destructoid made the claim of a "big announcement". I think people should take the comment has one person thinking that what he saw was a big thing. For all we know, he learned you could make pink dye...

Yeah, remember they listed the nominees weeks ago before Gamescom even started?
At the time people were bewildered that neither DAI nor The Witcher 3 were nominees.

2. Is it an RPG?

For award nominations like these I think there are typically certain restrictions/stipulations like, and these are just made up examples since I don't know for sure: game needs to have full access playable at the booth instead of just demo, or within a certain release window, etcetc, in order to be nominated. Which could be why some obvious titles you'd think would be nominated aren't. I poked briefly around the site but couldn't find an awards rules page to confirm.

I remember there being a rule that it had to be a 2014 release. But perhaps you're right and there was some other stipulation that kept DAI out of the running...
