If my inquisitor yells, something about ladders and get off my back each time I move him around the battle field I'll have a melt down. Especially when he runs right past the enemies I am telling him to attack......jerk!

That was authoritative. Might have to use it in one of my rhetoric discussions.
People shouldn't worry about DAI not receiving a GOTY, but more on how well the game will sell. DLC and the future of the franchise are more heavily connected with that factor rather than accolades (which of course helps with sales).
Eeyup. And with that one tweet that was posted yesterday regarding letting people know about DAI had me a bit worried it ain't going so well pre order wise. Hopefully it explodes when it is released.

I never - and probably will never - understand why some people would attack LGBT content. LGBT are normal people just like everyone else and should be included, I dont get why people feel so threathened by other people's sexuality. Who someone is attracted to or who someone choose to love does not hurt anyone, and is francly none of their (the opposer's) business.
The united states (and a majority of other countries) seems to have alot of people, especially religious - that basicly attacks a person's choice on who to love. How they claim to fight for freedom and democracy when they at the same time attack the right of who people choose to love is hypocrisy at its finest.
Hating someone for their sexual preference is as arbitrary as hating someone for having a different favorite color.
Bottomline: Some people will always be hateful and look for someone to poison with their hate. And as good Aristotle said (I believe it was his quote) "evil brings men together", and LGBT are always a target for some reason.
From a logical perspective hating or opposing LGBT serves noone. It is simply people which are hateful, insecure or ignorant that needs to hate something or someone to feel better about themselves or something down that road. I dont believe anyone would hate someone for being LGBT for a logical or sane reason. If there were no LGBT, they would find someone else to hate on.

I wonder why. If I were the sort of player who ever used the action controls, I suspect this would really annoy me.Mike Laidlaw @Mike_Laidlaw
Also, Tactical view is always auto-attack

Probably because the assumption is that having to constantly press the attack button while having one character selected in order to make them attack renders switching between characters basically impossible.

I only really intend to enter tactical view in order to pause for a better look at the opening moments of a new battle or the most dire straits of a tough encounter. I can coordinate my team as desired at that time and it'll happen as slowly as I want -- or need. I'll hop back into action mode immediately thereafter, before much in the way of auto-attacking starts triggering, so I don't personally feel annoyed.
From what I've watched of gameplay presentations this plan of mine seems feasible, so I think I'll be OK.

Maybe it's because I come from a religious family and have been surrounded by religious people all my life (personally I'm unsure where I stand), but in my experience in living my life in America, the problem with hate stems not from religion, but from ignorance and lack of education. Most religions in the world, especially the top 3 in terms of population, promote peace, love, and kindness, and eschew hatred and destructive emotions (often labeled as "sin" or "sinful"). The problem is that massive swaths of racist, bigoted, uneducated people are drawn to religion without really understanding what it's about, trying to make God fit around their previously held beliefs instead of changing themselves to fit what their God wishes for them to exemplify. Most of the religious people I know, including my family, are all very supportive of equal rights and representation, most of which comes from approaching life and religion through the lens of knowledge and education.
All in all, this isn't really the place for this type of discussion, but I felt compelled to express this sentiment anyway. Sorry. I'll be back on topic next time, I promise. ![]()
I think some of the people that question the content in question area bit misunderstood. To me they made an error with Anders romance in DAI because the heart icon popped up 2 seconds after you talk to the guy. It simply felt forced. Also without knowing the % of representation of people doing romances one can't say if things are forced or not.
The Destiny Alpha and Beta were both terrific, so they would certainly be well deserved accolades, provided the full game retains that level of quality.
I haven't played it but seen a lot of footage of Destiny. My opinion: it's an okay shooter with uninspired mission design and an underwhelming story (the way it's told). It's redeeming factor is the social aspect but play it alone and i bet it'll get boring rather quickly. I don't get the hype.

The only reason I can think of is because there might not be a currently selected character, necessarily, while in tactical mode. If that's the case, I can understand the prohibition.Probably because the assumption is that having to constantly press the attack button while having one character selected in order to make them attack renders switching between characters basically impossible.

Right, that's what I meant. The 'dead' time when your cursor is hopping from one character to another in tactical view while switching would make it impossible for any character to attack if attacking in tactical view still required a selected character and continuous button presses.
I at least have not seen it before, so thanks ![]()
Didn't see the cover. Can't wait to add this and the artbook to my collection
