Huh, I saw that in the Dorian thread awhile ago.
Maybe Nick needs to hang out in the Dorian thread more... ![]()

It's a colorful place, and not just because of the rainbows.
Interesting tidbit from David Gaider...
Q: Are the lands north of Thedas convenient generators of race origins, or do they already have their own lore? How much do Thedosians interact with them? Could a somniari talk to northerners? Do they trade with Par Vollen? Are any darkspawn present? Was it a cataclysm that drove races south, or pure exploration? Most importantly, are we ever likely to go there, whether in a game or a novel? Ever since reading the tidbits in WoT, I'm insanely curious about the north.
DG: The second edition of the World of Thedas lorebook should provide you some new information on what lies “Beyond Thedas”, if that’s a subject which interests you. That includes the northern islands, as well as what lies to the west and east (and even the Sunless Lands to the south of the Wilds).

During Gamescom, I managed to grab a quick interview with @dragonage's @blairkerrbrown! Read more here: http://www.mmorpg.com/gamelist.cfm/game/1028/feature/8823/Dragon-Age-Inquisition-Continuing-the-Saga.html …
@AlixWiltonRegan are you going to tweet or film your DAI gameplay experiences?

Hang on - @DAEanders6 what? You mean of me shaking my head and going "oh god Alix, REALLY?!? THAT'S what you thought was a good idea?!"
I told her "Yeah, pretty much

It's happening!!!
How does a box look elfy? Does it have ribbons on it? Does it give of a sense of victimization?
Probably means it looks like it was made by an elf. Often absolutely festooned with ruffles.

I would very much like to have, hold, and read the Chant of Light in its entirety. Much like the Bible.
Unlikely we'll every consider it "complete," but I appreciate the thought!
(uh, yeah... especially if it takes 3 full weeks to recite.)

That's smart, so if they ever want to add "how the chantry feels about ____" they can without breaking lore.

It's been stated awhile ago that they create excerpts from the Chant as needed.
Hopefully we can change the buttons, I'd rather have a be attack and the trigger as jump....
I don't think that's a good setup, because if A is basic attack, your thumb is occupied ... So you can't turn and keep yourself on target with the right thumbstick. It's not so much an issue for cooldown-based special abilities as you won't be using those with the same frequency.
