Sometimes I wonder how the writers come up with banter ... and then things like this lead me to think that it's all banter all the time down there in the pit.

 

(OK, so Sera is probably not actually telling Iron Bull what to call his sex tape, but you can't say it wouldn't be in character if sex tapes were a thing in Thedas.)

I love that Mr. Laidlaw has played Persona 4 and is using it as an example* . Wonder if that had any influence on the whole slightly tarot-ish thing they have with the party selection and war map screen.

Playing a game is different to watching it, and I don't necessarily think it's fair to judge something as "underwhelming" or "uninspired" if you've yet to experience it in the way it was intended.

But you're entitled to your opinion, of course, and I understand that what amounts to a shooter with RPG elements isn't necessarily going to be (very) popular on a forum for games that focus heavily on story and characters. I could also spend ages explaining why I'm excited for the new Call of Duty, but that would go down like a lead balloon.

 

I think i can glean enough from watching. I did say "okay shooter", i'm sure it's gonna play well. Bungie are not amateurs. But that notwithstanding, other than the social aspect, it just looks rather generic to me. Having said that, i still plan to get it, precisely to play with my friends, plus leveling & loot are a nice carrot on a stick. Unlike you might believe, i am also into action / adventure / shooter games. Speaking of Call of Duty, Advance Warfare might be the first Call of Duty since Modern Warfare 2 for me.

Well, "blessed" is complicated, "OOM" is Out Of Memory, "refactored" is common and you can look it up, and "JPF'd" is NSFW.

Montreal is warmer, by faaaaar. It can still get as cold, but doesn't last for half the stupid year.

Sorry if this is abit OT, but I have to get it off my chest.

I found out today that my final exam is the 20th of November.

 

DA:I comes out the 21st of November where I live, the day right after my final exam at the university.

Better yet Im single and have no other plans until christmas. I also get scholarship money out december aswell.

In other words. The day after my final exam, I can play DA:I 30+ days straight with a pure conscience and no other obligations, and I get paid doing so
