Call me old fashioned, but I like going to the midnight release. I plan on happily sprinting home, my 'major' purchase clutched to my chest. Well, maybe more sprinting home from the bus stop in a frantic pace with it secured in my purse as my neighborhood isn't the best anymore.

I recall a tweet to Laidlaw where he stated that the hand autoattack for mages was an old animation, but did anyone tweet for clarification on why it is an old animation?

My local gamestore says they'll have a midnight release for Inquisition if they get 150 pre-orders. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

You mean, why did they change it or why did they use it?
If you're looking for a more current version of the mage, in the Combat Gameplay video you can see they no longer use the hand-blasts...
