I think it'll tie in with the elven plotline. It's not uncommon for once-advanced races to have tapped into things mystically scientific in their rich pasts when it comes to fantasy literature. And there's a real-world basis for a lot of that stuff, too. I'm no maestro of Dragon Age lore, but thus far what I recall learning concerning the ancient elves isn't so far off from fantasy-astronomical capabilities.

I had about 0 interests in Vivienne's character.
Until it was announced that Indria was her VA.
I didn't think it was possible to be any more excited and then I watched the video and suddenly I am very much looking forward to her snark. I can't wait to hear her and Varric go back and forth with each other.
