So, yes, I’ll confirm: Varric is not a love interest in #DAI. I’ll see what I can do about getting a post up dispelling remaining mysteries.

 

  I respect a character driven decision, but I wish they had told us earlier instead of letting us hope for months. Not gonna lie, my heart is a little bit bruised right now. Now I actually have to get to know the characters to figure out who to romance.

It would be odd if Sheryl Chee didn't write a romance since historically she has written a romance in every single DA game.

 

(also Patrick already wrote Iron Bull's romance)

I hope there is an option to interject in that conversation and be like "hey, if you want you can always throw me."

 

Moreso, I hope there's actually a way to set up Iron Bull's AI to actually run over to the Elven/Dwarven Inquisitor and throw them at oncoming enemies.  That'd just be the coolest.  XD

He played at Gamescon.
He said he isn't generally a rpg fan, other then DA (don't know if he was talking about DAO or DAI). He said he loved the fact to play i a team of four and the choice of directly controlling all of them, and the tactical camera.

It sounds like attendees at Gamescom had an embargo on releasing gameplay footage and YouTube videos, according to this French tweet from a few das ago.

 

That would explain why they're all suddenly appearing now.
