I agree. She wouldn't be interested in a match unless it could further her ambitions. So even if she is romance able, she will be race-gated to hell and back. No dwarf criminals, no Dalish, no Qunari mercs. Those would all be inconvenient to her.

The latter - they haven't said who is race gated at all. The last 2 could be, or 2 of the ones we already know could be.

She lives in a country were appearances are everything and she works hard to be at the top. She probably are great at playing the Game and in it, it just takers one misstep to fall. If Vivianne are serious in the Game then she would not involve herself with anything but a human of noble birth. Even if the person would be the Inquisitor, an Elf is still an Elf and are considered low in the society. A Dwarf would also be considered wrong and a Qunari would be crazy.
But, we don't know yet. Maybe she isn't that keen on the game as she looks?

As it stands everyone has choices.

Beyond that BioWare are entitled to tell the story they want to tell, whether that be gay, straight or bi.

Any emotional state more extreme than personal disappointment would be unreasonable.
