My reply to Aaryn :- Showcase moar combat, show us the skill trees properly, not just in passing, show crafting and keep customization.

I think their February 2013 teaser was worse (I think it was 2013). People were so excited, and I can't even remember what it was. But it was crap.
To be fair, it was originally going to be something else, but things changed. But BOY were people mad.
The best was the 2011 one, the paper that came in DAA with a date on it. The forums got all hyped up for weeks before hand. Then the date comes and.... they announced some web game thing. The forums exploded with rage for a while, it was all quite amusing after the fact, lol.

Aaryn Flynn @AarynFlynn now
So where are we at with the Dragon Age: Inquisition #UnscientificPoll? What's left to talk about / show you before launch?
Am interested on seeing more of the Talents, Spells, integrated Skills, and Specializations, if a kindly Twitter herald would pass that along. Thank you!

A few years ago there was a timer on the website hyping an announcement. The announcement turned out to be an event where forum users each got a personal link to the BioWare website and they got virtual currency whenever someone clicked it. This currency could then be used in auctions to get BioWare merchandise. This resulted in gaming sites like IGN, Gamespot and others being spammed by BioWare fans. The BioWare forums were also spammed by their own users. Since only part of the US could participate in the so-called "community" event, people used signature banners on the forums stating they "used to be part of the community, but are now just European/Australian/Canadian/ ...".
So that was what those signatures on the old forum were about? Huh.

I'm glad to see someone is enjoying the brutal gladiatorial battles that are no doubt occurring over the last coffee machine right about now.

Hopefully that coffee situation is resolved quickly; last thing we need is for the game to ship latte....
Lol! That's so pun funny!

Hope not; still do not understand why this is a good/ bad thing, but economics is not my forte.

I'm sure the person writing the article saying they were very excited wasn't like "Boy I'm so excited for this new big feature, no more Bioware points!"

I'd be fine with that being the big announcement, but I somehow don't think it is. Especially with McNally over there still rattling our cages. ![]()

It was pretty funny afterwords (during we were hoping for an official DA2 announcement I believe so it wasn't amusing, lol). That's the only time I've ever gotten a warning on the Bioware forums lol.

There's really nothing more more I feel I really need to see before release. I think they've at least touched on all the major elements of the game. Other than maybe seeing some Knight Enchanter gameplay, I think that's about it...

Or telling us if MP is in one way or another.
The biggest thing I want is the PC UI, because I am praying to every God that ever was and ever will be that the 8 key maps the controllers have is not reflected at all on the Keyboard and Mouse UI. I need 20 spaces for actives, please! The biggest reason why I got bored with ESO was the 5 ability limit, it made the game so boring. 8 > 5 sure, but unlimited is still tons better.

Or that Bioware devs were going to participate in Reality TV programming during crunch time.
