They're showing off a new trailer this week, there's a big announcement coming, and some press had hands-on time with new content at Gamescom that was different to the Fallow Mire level.

 

Lets hope that way. Also I seemed to have missed some info I guess. I didn't know that press had hands-on at different content at Gamescom

I would like them to release a trailer that is less about random scenes of demon and dragon carnage and more about the plot and characters. Alas, this new trailer seems to be another one of those lacking substance. It's like they have us for some adolescents that only care about spectacle...

It says gameplay trailer. The only "gameplay trailer" called "gameplay trailer" I know of is The Inquisitor trailer. the one from April. So it's most likely going to be a trailer, but it's possible to be a gameplay feature

It's more about people not wanting to see plot so it's all still surprising. By just covering battles and random exploration, they keep all the content fresh and don't alienate people who don't want to see any plot.

I have knee surgery on the 29th, so hoping once I come down off my meds I'll be finding links to demos and gameplay whatnots to help take my mind off of things.

 

(wanted to delay surgery until November, so time off recovery could mash up with DAI release....was told No *sad*)

Nope, nothing up yet - it's very strange, I expect the lack of information is because it has to do with what they're revealing this week.

 

The Mass Effect devs have said a PAX schedule is coming at some point though, so probably in a day or two from now.

There was some problem earlier where PAX said Mike Laidlaw was going to be there and he had to get someone to call and correct it because he's in crunch so won't be going.

But i think they are doing a disservice to the game (well, at least i hope the game offers much more than the trailers suggest). Marketing is primarily not meant for fans that are gonna buy the game anyway.

Although....after pain meds, any comments and reviews would be highly suspect.
