The Iron Bull was confirmed as non-gated at GaymerX. Josephine was confirmed as non-gated in her writer's interview on the main Dragon Age site.

John Epler pulled some kind of heroic weekend shenanigans to make sure the IB wasn't gated in any way whatsoever.  Other than that, I know nothing.

For Josephine, it was in her writer interview. Patrick Weekes announced that Iron Bull was available to everyone live on stage at GaymerX.

They said Bull wasn't race gated, and he's actually Pansexual.

You know, just what that involved is something I'd be interested in learning. Maybe it's a ton of technical stuff I wouldn't understand the half of, but it would be a neat bit of behind the scenes info about an aspect of game development we never really get to see.

Nothing particularly new, although another mention of 'Requisition' quests, which have only just started being talked about, at least, as far as I can remember.

 

You get them in the camps that you setup in the regions.  Also, not sure if this had been said before, but those camps are not for - companion interaction i.e. romance stuff, I guess.  That gets done at Skyhold, at least that was my takeaway from what he said. May have misheard him.

I put romance options in their own races cuz I can't see a human not open to romancing a human

 

I think that would depend on how they feel about nobility, rather than their own race.

 

The human Inquisitor, whether mage or not, is still from a noble family. A mage Hawke who sides with the templars is able to become Viscount of Kirkwall, so a human mage Inquisitor could potentially regain his or her title and status.
