In case anyone is curious, I am a PC Gamer and will likely be able to play the odd MP game here or there after release #DAI

 

I love that devs are saying what they will play on so other people can join them

Orrrrrr we're entering uncharted waters and there'll be a whopping one DAI DLC on the campaign side. And that'd suck, yeah.

So let me see if I got this straight. In SP when something happens we send a team. In MP the Team is the people playing it. Sounds like the MP is going to have a easier time of getting a well done from the game. (19 people posted while i typed this)

Indifferent, but glad to know it has no effect on the single player content. I'm probably going to give more than 200 hours of my time for the solo, so not sure I'll have time and the energy to focus on the multiplayer lol.

How have you arrived at this conclusion?  They've stated multiple times that there is no correlation between SP and MP.

I'm so disapointed. But at least it wont afect singelplayer.

what dose he mean by themes?

My guess, the multiplayer takes place during the war so it takes place during the SP but has no impact on singelplayer.

If it's just a reskin of a NPC walking about or in a battle, cool. That was something I thought would have worked at the FOB in ME3.

BioWare has been known to lie in the past.  But yeah, I sincerely doubt they'd lie about this again.

I think it's more like they're the sorts of missions you send your agents on in SP, but the success or failure of those missions in SP is totally independent from their appearance in MP.

They really messed up the story in 2 and 3. Thought 4 has an interesting story.

Not what I was insinuating.  I was implying they'd put more focus on the MP post game-launch, rather than the SP. 

MP dlc is always easier to do, its not because they want to but budget wise its more cost effective and has a longer lasting appeal. Heck, people still play ME3 multiplayer to this day as proof of that

 

There will be SP dlc but rising cost of production,animation and quality voice acting  means expect afew good one as opposed to severa mediocre ones

I'm a bit confused on the whole 'doors being barred unless you have the requisite class' situation.  Does that mean that only a part of a map will be excluded to you (and whatever loot may be behind it)?  Or does it mean a dead end for the entire mission and it's time to reload and re-balance your team?  I mean if it's the latter then I think it would be much simpler just to have imposed a pre-requisite team balance for starting missions.

So I've started a multiplayer group likes I did for ME3 for people to exchange usernames and talk about MP.  It seemed to help people get started finding people to play with last time before people went off and founded there own things for more specific desires.  So if you are looking forward to Dragon Age Multiplayer and want to find people to play with please consider joining the group in my sig.  I'm also looking for some moderators to help keep things in order and maybe make the group a little more robust that with just me running the show,  PM me if you might be interested.
