So, that makes it acceptable all of a sudden?  I think not.

More of a case that you're going learn to expect it and grow thicker skin. If there is an issue, at this point it has to be dealt with after launch and with problems that a really there not ones we assume are there.

It's no secret mp was in the works, so the surprise should be when it's announced not if it's announced. Added, the mp bw has done never effected the producing of sp dlcs.

Anyway. My feeling on Mp are as follows.

I think that it might be a interesting experiance. The DA fanbase is cool and friendly ( mostly) so I see lots of oportunities for premade groups. The AI should be better and it would seem that teamplay with the specific classes is key. So I people will give this a chance. I sure know I will.

If it's just a reskin of a NPC walking about or in a battle, cool. That was something I thought would have worked at the FOB in ME3.

I'd be down for the MP characters as NPCs at our Keep that we can chat with a bit - just soldiers lounging around between missions, etc.

What if I don't play to play online, though? 'Cause I don't. :P

I played the first 1 and liked it a lot, regardless, so I should be alright.

Yeah, I was referring to single player alone anyway. :)

Having a thick skin isn't relevant at all to what we're discussing.   Expect it you say?  That sounds an awful lot like complacency from where I'm standing.

As someone who was greeted with "do you even know what you're doing?!" the first time I ventured into ME3 MP, I still enjoyed the hell out of that experience.  I cannot state this with enough force, I SUCK AT COMBAT, but always got a thrill when I survived the 10th wave, lol  I was probably the highest level player on bronze, just for sheer hours put in...so I fully intend to check this out.  I anticipate huge suckage and people sighing in my general direction, but as long as I'm having fun, what's the harm?

I don't understand people being upset about this...it's either a plus, or doesn't affect you at all...right?

Complacency? Please. It's the understanding that these people aren't superhumans who can't make mistakes and that jumping to conclusions are not going to help. It could be faaaaaaar worse.(Looks at Ubisoft.)

I wasted a depressing amount of time wondering what DAMP meant.

I have never felt stupider than the moment when I realised.

So there you go. There are much worse things in the world than a MP that has no effect on your SP experience. Like realising you are dumb as a plank.

Was going to order game in Oct. Will now wait and listen.

BW game looks really great and the NPCs are as cool as always(- Jacob) story sounds good also.

MP might be fun for some but not me.

BioWare has been known to lie in the past.  But yeah, I sincerely doubt they'd lie about this again.

"Lie" is a strong word. Most of their "lies" have being things changing and them not admitting that they changed their minds or criticize of fear they will loose their jobs (like Inon Zur). And sometimes it has been orders forcing them to break promises (like the support for DA:O).

People always accuse devs of telling lies and I don't think it's fair.

MP is not mandatory. Why would it make you not want to get a game?

The Reaver is indeed female.

How many MP characters will be available at launch?

· Twelve characters, four for each class (warrior, rogue, and mage), will be available at launch. Characters from the same class can be very different. For example, let's take a Legionnaire and a Reaver. A Legionnaire can handle a weapon and shield and plays the role of a classic tank. Generating aggro and soaking up damage are his main role in a party. The Reaver is a two-handed warrior who focuses more on dealing damage and generating aggro, and her skills can buff herself or the entire party. The Legionnaire and the Reaver are both warriors, but depending on your party composition and your style, one may be more suitable than the other.

So you were going to preorder it, until you found out it has a completely separate MP, and now you aren't even though the SP hasn't changed?

If it didn't affect me at all,I would not have to contribute money (in the form of the retail price) to something I detest. :)

I'll probably give MP a try.  I came to ME3 very late so I never go into MP, but I'm looking forward to getting into it from the beginning.

I wonder... will the Advisors talk to us, like Admiral Hackett does in the ME3MP? Specifically Cullen, as the leader of our military forces.
