Well, as long as it doesn't effect SP I don't really care. Or at least that would have been the case if there hadn't been so much hype for this announcement. My excitement for DA:I deflated pretty rapidly when I realised it was only MP. Don't argue that it doesn't effect SP, I already know that. This is just a gut feeling that can't really be reasoned with. My excitement will probably be back in a day or two, since my disappointment was mostly due to the massive hype. Congrats to you people who wanted it, though.

I don't play competitive MP at all. There is always some 13 year old better than me and I hate that at my age.

Coop is what lured me into ME3MP and it makes DAMP appealing. Heck you figure sans the gunplay from ME3 there is really going to be no twitch skills rewarded here at all - which makes me happy at least.

 

Me too, in PVP I die. A lot.

But in ME3MP I could play carefully, thoughtfully and pick up the reckless player bodies or clutch waves to victory.

From what I see, DAMP could reward thoughtful play over pew-pew bash-bash.

I think if you like what you've seen in the gameplay videos so far, you shouldn't have much to worry about.

By the maker! Awesome news!!! I don't think I need to get any more games for a very long time. This game seems like the total package.
That said I wonder if our mp created characters can pop up in the dragon age single player campaign? That would be cool!!! Also wonder if there will be high dragons to take down in mp.
Anyways great news! Bravo bioware bravo!
P.S. I will be playing on xbox1 if anyone wants to join up. When the time is right, when the time is right....

I think what he meant by the comment (Weekes, not Sylvius) is that multiplayer was another way to test gameplay under different conditions.

The MP testing made the SP better.
