It's because I mentioned a tweet where Ryan Loe said he had been assigned to work on the romance cutscenes.

Even with that, it makes no sense and is totally out of context.
It made sense to me.
Still, there's no need to be rude to the guy/girl.

In that situation, theoretically, even writers and producers could get fired.

It's a good thing then that there's pretty much no chance of the game being that far along in development.

I concur. The various Tweets recorded in this thread have shown that they are in the content creation side right now, with still volumes more to do and with some base systems still being tweaked. From what we've been told, it is pretty much an impossibility that they are just "roughing out the edges" of the game.

Important to remember that we know of literally one person from the DA team who has been laid off, out of a team of hundreds. There are probably more, but it's not like entire teams are gone.

Agreed. I would have just expressed sympathy for those laid off if not for the "Phase 1, 2 and 3" comments. But overall, nothing worth dooming and glooming over.

This. While I definitely feel bad for any BioWare employee laid off, I think we have to remember that there are more than just the dragon age team.

Harrassment charges? I'm not sure that means what you think that means.

If you have issues that people are being rude and disrespectful towards you, do not further compromise the thread by continuing to discuss it. Feel free to ignore the posts you feel are there to agitate you, and if it's serious contact a moderator or developer such as myself.
On both sides, there's no need to call out one another and continuing to do so will only serve to make me angry and to send out my newly created army of soldier geese to ruin your days. Don't make me do that.
Thank you.

On a separate note, very sad to hear about more layoffs. I hope all who lost or lose their jobs quickly find another.

and layoffs to ppl w/years and years of experience, too? oh, dear. i do prefer a talented and experienced heavy team w/a nice mix of break-ins. just to keep things fresh, and all.
but i don't want a break-in game.

MAKER NO! NOT THE GEESE! I don't have my army of genetically modified evil ninja hamsters around to defend me.

I am better than Nolan, thanks for noticing (but it's close).
It's nice that you don't care about Frostbite 3. As mentioned, lets not get into another pissing match over which game someone does or does not like.
What I take from your comment: "Graphics do not concern me, Admiral." Noted.
Last OP, will you (as BW i mean) ever address the bugs in the Xbox version of Origins? I mean it's 4 years, 4 years to fix a huge bug that doesn't allow Alistair to be anything else than king if he isn't exiled
A bug like that, still present in the game after 4 years is quite insulting
Anyone?

They've discontinued any support for Origins or DA2, how could they justify financially by releasing a patch for a 5 year old game?

Me, too. So much. I want BW to wildly succeed.
I hope whoever the new ceo of EA is, they will...have a certain understanding and slight love affair w/the industry and gaming in general. Not necessarily a gamer--tho that doesn't hurt. Someone that likes to set trends more than throwing obscene amounts of money at chasing trends w/the fever pitch of a tween crush. While yelling "Y U NO LUV ME?" at said trend.
And someone who has a certain work ethic. A professionalism. So, that the very idea of knowingly pushing out any product that is subpar would be totally unacceptable. I mean, it does have your name on it, after all.
Hmm, we'll see. DA3 is prolly under alot of pressure right now.
