That would be a powerful ability for a Ranger to summon an animal like a goose.

You could even call Allan a... Power Ranger...?

Everyone's password at Bioware is periodically reset and today's the day, it seems. I forsee sacrifices to the IT team and swearing at computers ahead.

(Related: I didn't realise password reset days were something major companies actually did. It all feels a little like Deus Ex to me.)

I work in retail and those of us in management have to change our passwords weekly. It sucks, especially when your memory sucks as much as mine.

Sooo, I wonder if there are any plans to freshen up the forum. It needs a bit of a facelift, imo.

Also, I would very much like to be able to choose my own avatar. Effortlessly. None of this techy, voodoo w/ the DAO char. creator, and all that. Ack.

just wondering....

There are plans to update the forum. Though I don't know the timeline on any of that sort of stuff. I just know that online teams are looking to improve it.

They've discontinued any support for Origins or DA2, how could they justify financially by releasing a patch for a 5 year old game?

This is kind of exciting news. I too would love an easier way to customize my avatar.

To be fair, its not like video games have warranties or service agreements. They can ship out a game that glitches out so bad that the game is unbeatable and you wouldn't have much of a leg to stand on, other than filing customer complaints.

Generally, the way video games (and all software) work is that if they haven't fixed it before they release the sequel/next version, its never going to be fixed. We're about three years past that point for DA:O.

Jet Set Willy was a classic example of a game that glitched out badly.
