It’s time to pack our bags and head to the Pacific Northwest, because the last big event of the summer is upon us: PAX Prime! We’re excited to bring Dragon Age: Inquisition to Seattle and give attendees a closer look at the game before it ships in November.
We’ll also have a brand-new demo ready to play exclusively at the Xbox Booth (#412)! Meet our producers, get your burning questions answered, and be the first to play Dragon Age: Inquisition multiplayer content! The Xbox booth is open 10-6 Fri/Sat/Sun and 10-3 Monday.

Meaning they're re-using the gamescom demo for PAX? Hmmm. I mean, it definitely makes sense from a time-management perspective, but it's slightly disappointing.
On the other hand, it's not too long to wait before we have the game ourselves anyway, so there's that.
Edit: Just saw the press release mentions the demo is "brand new", so I guess it just hinges on the definition of "new" here. Either way, not long to wait before it gets figured out!
Maybe the "new demo" is the multiplayer one? We'll see tomorrow!

Although if the Gamescom demo is going to be shown in HQ resolution later on in the day, I'd still be very much interested in watching that!

Holy crap, that's a lot of demos and panels. I wonder if each MP panel is just a repeat? The demos probably are, but you don't usually have repeated panels.

I'm kinda hoping for a new demo for the SP too.
I would think it wouldn't be difficult with the game being as big as it is, but no idea what goes into demo makin'.

Sadly lots of effort goes into a demo push. A preview demo a la E3 and Gamescon is less effort (but still a fair amount) while a playable demo takes a team generally a whole sprint to work out. They have to branch out the code from the last stable state, then fix all the regression bugs that still existed then (and might not exist now, so it can almost be considered wasted work towards the final product), then extensive QA to ensure the experience is acceptable for end users. It is a big effort.

That is mostly on the QA team themselves, plus BAs and POs to find a good gameplay segment and run through it in a fashion that is known to be bug free. It isn't difficult, but it does take some important people out of the loop for a while as they work on this. Unlike a playable demo it doesn't require a stable bug-free build, but it is made easier by going back to a relatively bug-free build.

Will we see the DAI interface on PS4 soon? I guess it's very close to the Xbox one, but I'm curious about it...
It's pretty much identical, just the button legend is different.

Short of technical, scheduling, or regional issues. eg. Euro DLC releases Wed., NA DLC releases Tues.
