Over 200 abilities, but only 8 quickslots in the PC version which you can switch out between fights (but not during fights).

It seems you have to hotkey 8 you want to use before setting out.  You can re-arrange them when you have the time, but I'm not sure if that's simply between battles or when you're at your base or in a non-battle area.

 

Hmm, interesting. I'll be on Xbox One myself, so I wonder what the console version of this will be.

Same, but I'm sure it'll work fine. Always did on 360, at least I had no complaints.

Great first day at #PAX at the #BioWareBase. Saw excellent cosplay: Sera, Hawke, Morrigan, and Shepard were in attendance.

 

So people only know how to cosplay Hawke, Sera and Morrigan.  Why not try somethign different..... Wynne? Shale?, Varric?

I'm wondering.  Does the 8 hotkey abilities/spells include sustained abilities like Rally or Arcane Shield etc?  Personally I wouldn't mind things like that being set as more passive or otherwise the 8 abilities may start to seem less generous if you have to factor in a couple of sustained abilities on top of the spells or abilities you'd like to employ.

I've seen a Varric cosplay once. It's a distant memory, but I vaguely remember it to be an event hosted by a woman who couldn't pronounce Ali Hillis' name.

No local co-op for multiplayer mode. Lots of DLC support, same with ME3's. Challenge system like ME3 back. #DragonAge #PAX

Sustained abilities don't appear to be in the game. They've likely been changed to work as passives, which I think is a good decision, considering most of my sustains might as well have been passives, since I kept them on all the time.

Kinda sounds like the last éclair in the window at the pastry shop; easy to miss in a crowd, but it is quite formidable when alone....

There was a Varric cosplayer fairly recently, shale would be very difficult and Wynne?

 

Well...it's hard to cosplay as someone without a distinctive look and Wynne doesn't really have one.
