People shouldn't assume they entirely know a character just because they read a little backdrop story the writer shared with us pre-game.

I can see her being race-gated, she probably has some kind of standards. We didn't expect Solas to be one too and boom, that tweet.

 

I'm not sure you understand: I am almost sure that Vivienne would be race gated, and it was all but said that the two remaining LI's were not both race gated. 

 

Therefore if Solas has been confirmed as a gated LI it would mean Vivienne is either not romanceable or not race gated, and of the two the former seems more likely. To me at least.

And would also mean less angry tweets directed at devs and against other fans like what happened with the Varric reveal last week. Dousing out the fire quickly before it grows even worse, you know. xD

 

On topic-ish though- I do hope marketing team does plan to have a special day that showcases romance info, (like with what they are doing with multiplayer, the Keep etc.)

 

Even if its just a blog post or a small FAQ thing. Its an asset to the game that a lot of fans like and should be teased more to get romance fans even more hyped to purchasing the game NOW instead of later.
