Dave's comment was accurate when it was made months ago. The texture was, at that point, the default when another texture was not available. That's why it was showing up across multiple models. It is, however, a perfectly valid texture, and as we get closer to launch, it will be used in places where it is appropriate, just like the rest of the fabric patterns.

Yeah, assumed as such. The texture itself wasn't the problem, just that it was pasted in all characters.

I'm sure it's stuff like this that makes some of the devs wonder why they even bother with putting romances in the game at all. What about the epic storyline and sidequests? Awesome tactical gameplay? I would still play DA, even if every single companion was in the friend zone.

Ugh. You can feel the annoyance coming from Weekes' tweets. Makes it all the more praiseworthy that the developers go out of their way to communicate so much with the fans and be so involved in our fandom. Hats off to them.

People should play what they want to play, but romances are optional content. No one is forcing anyone to do anything. If they just want to experience the love story like a movie, they can always watch youtube vids, I guess? It would be very different if, for instance, if the game only allowed you to be one gender (which many do).

They probably take a step back after reading it and calm down instead of going with gut responses.  Then they can be calm about it
