Saw a bug waiting for a pun. Discovered @Mike_Laidlaw had already made it.
...And I see that someone took their weird Cthullu skull on a charming picnic lunch. #ExploringThedas

Im really hoping Mary Kirby's latest two tweets means theres undocumented quests we can learn about kinda like in Skyrim and other TES games. I love things like that, makes the world feel alive

Apparently there are caves and areas where there are no quests assigned to them... At least 1/region IIRC...

Mike Laidlaw said he instructed his designers to create at least one obscure quest type of thing totally unrelated to the critical path of the game and he seemed to indicate they had done more so yes supposedly we do get to explore a number of areas and just discover quests without being told to go there.
Officially hopping onto DAI for QA support. Skimming through the bug database, some of these bug titles are downright excellent.
I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. http://media-cache-cd0.pinimg.com/736x/5c/fc/5f/5cfc5f7c6c7ea41f2e112c2b32c9ee55.jpg …

Are you allowed to give us an example? :-D
And welcome to the Song That Never Ends! ;-)
Bug: Cullen's hair looks like a bathsponge. (don't worry, the bug's fixed now)

Whatever, I still love DAO and DA2-Cullen's amazing leopard-print hair.

Just got an email saying that the default testing Inquisitor for the week is going to look like Abraham from Walking Dead. Awesome.
Our default for the past little while has been so rad, though. She looks like she kicks ass and takes names.
Reid Buckmaster @ReidBuckmaster
I do like her an her haircut very much. She looks like she does, in fact, mean a bunch of business.

NOOOO don't let @AllanSchumacher get it!

I don't get the babies. I'm not a monster!
User 2
No, you just mercilessly slaughter their parents so that they suffer a slow and agonizing death-
User 3
You folks leave Allan alone. He's doing this for the greater good, ya'll.

annihilate all arachnids, instead.
Allan Schumacher @AllanSchumacher
Those ones are killed with impunity. O_O
There's something I've been wondering about: are they actually called "fennec foxes" in the game? Because 'fennec' is derived from Arabic and the language does not exist in Thedas.

Why are spiders always monsters? Like like spiders. They eat all the gross bugs.
There aren't any Germans in Thedas and they still use the word cat.
True. I sometimes grapple with the notion that Dragon Age probably operates on the principle of Translation Convention; the characters aren't actually speaking English and French and whatnot, but for the sake of ease (both ours and the developers'), it's presented in languages we can understand.

Not the horse-sized ones. Those eat adventurers.

I cannot IMAGINE an alternative. We would have a game in a completely made-up language.

Which would require a massive amount of effort for very little payoff.

Or further evidence that DA & ME are in a shared universe and everyone in DA secretly uses ME universal translators. wait did that need spoiler tags

I can't see why. We've always known they were in the same universe. Isn't the Inquisitor possessed by the ghost of Commander Shepard?

This brings further validity to my theory that the demons are actually geth creations from the other side of the Veil.

I beat Game Informer to the punch like four days ago! And I had links to the DAO videos too! But it fell off the top page because no one gave a crap.

I know I've seen the Origins videos elsewhere... somewhere (not the DA2 one though), but somehow managed to miss your thread entirely. ![]()
