#Shirtquisition is over?!? Hmmm...the dynamic BSN'ers who post tweets on this thread before they even post to Twitter suspiciously fail to post the tweeted questions when swag is involved...I smell a conspiracy! ![]()

Lunch done. Time for post-lunch testing. Although I got an extra slow clap from @PatrickWeekes this morning. Not sure I can top that really.

Did somebody say something about new gameplay? Is that a thing that's happening?

Has it been answered yet if followers will be able to use abilities that are not mapped to their quickslot bars?

- We've had a (possibly) hinting tweet, but that's all so far...

We know you can't (directly) use abilities that are not in your quickslots. Though we don't know yet about abilities set in your tactics but not on your quickslot bar. But you can swop abilities out on your quickslot bar between combats.

.
Why would followers not use abilities that they have just because they're not on a UI that's meant for the player?
Of course they'll use every ability in combat, when appropriate. They've always done this, and you can adjust the behaviour in the tactics menu.

Might be a new intentional limit. The 8 quickslot limit on the PC is new and was made for tactical reasons, so I don't think my question is that silly
. Maybe they have made it so followers will only use the abilities you map out for them. I'd like to know for sure if that's not the case.
Which dev should we ask for this?

Will the companions have a different UI with no restrictions? Likely only the abilities in the bar will change when you control a companion.
Making them accesible is not consistent with the idea behind the abilities bar. If you have access to all abilities through tactics you're bypassing the system's restriction.

We've always had access to all our abilities before. I think it only makes sense that the only ability tactics that execute are ones put onto your companions' bar, especially if BioWare is truly trying to promote the idea of specializing roles and thinking about your party having 32 abilities instead of a single character having 8.
Besides that, it gels better with the tactical camera in which you can order your party to do stuff, but only from the ability bar.

Looky! Looky!
Good news fanboys and girls: BioWare has released the latest round of updates of Dragon Age Keep to the beta testers and we have been given permission to share some goodies. SAY WHAT?!?! Let me know if you have any questions about the Keep and I will see what I can do. This is still only the beta, so anything you might see starting to float around here on NerdWorthy and elsewhere is NOT the finished product.
PLEASE NOTE: All of the Beta testers (myself included) are still under the restrictions of our NDA. Though we have been given some freedom to share things, I can’t tell you everything. No worries though. You all will get access soon enough!

We're pretty much at the point were every story/content bug passes through me for approval. It's simultaneously the best and the worst.

so early release?
Hell no.

I want them to have every second of time left to them. I feel so vicariously stressed for the poor devs when reading their tweets, I almost want them to have an additional month or two. Almost. ![]()
Best wishes to Jepler who is currently out with the BioPlague. Feel better!

One of the best/funniest/most terrifying parts about finaling a game has just begun, and QA is stepping up in spades.
