They are actually there. You just can't see them in this shot. Elves have tattoos.

Ooo...  I had a hard time with female elves in origins, it was hard to make them look good.  This is promising.

 

And nice to see the male elfquisitor too, I'd wondered if we'd ever get a good look at one before actually playing the game.
