Smart. Funny. Laid back, yet tough and no nonsense when need be. Protective of his crew, but quietly so.
I'm not usually into dwarves, but dat personality!

Varric was my true, if unspoken love in DA2.

I know!! While everyone on the internet was fawning over Fenris or Anders, I was just making googly eyes over Varric. I loved his personality and in my opinion my favorite character in DA2 by far. He was such a bro, you could imagine my sadness when I found out you couldn't be anything more, but yeah I think everyone can agree Varric is awesome

And I noticed an area that I found quite interesting. Look south of Tirashan. That's right, Urthemiel Plateau.
Urthemiel was the old god/arch demon of the 5th blight, i.e. THE OGB. I'm wodering if this will have anything to do with the OGB in DA3, since we will be near orlais a lot. I'm guessing if he's in the game, he'd be there.
and I'm aware that he's currently a pre-teen, we don't know how many years the game will span yet.

Except that, unless it's forced on your story if you didn't do the dark ritual with Morrigan, there won't be an old god baby.
I know most people chose that route because they either didn't want their character or Alistair to die, but some decided to bite the bullet and have a hero's death.

I'm pretty sure that they didn't name the plateu after the OGB, and that you don't think they did, but then the only reason for the OGB to be near the plateu would be that he was drawn to stuff with his own name (and, I guess it isn't his name either, it was his name when he was the old god). It's like people trying to find me and going "wait, there's a river in Russia with her name, I bet that's where she'll be!".
What I'm saying is that I don't think that's really related at all.

You might want to study the entire map of Thedas. Tevinter used to control everything and they named different places after the Old Gods. There's Arl Dumat and Andoral's Reach too as least...

I believe Gaider and Laidlaw have both said fairly recently that they won't force the OGB into the story for those that chose to sacrifice their Wardens.
For which I am relieved and grateful seeing as I sacrificed my Warden and felt that I did choose the best ending. It was beautiful and it provided closure for my entire adventure.

Honestly, complete stab in the dark here, I'm guessing that we will get more information at the Xbox reveal in a few weeks, if not, then for SURE E3. It only makes sense. I mean, we're to the point now, we are looking at about a month before we get more information. Surely we can wait just a little longer to get more information...
i wouldnt doubt it. but i believe it was said on more then a few occasions, that it was for this gen of console. those i bet it does end up on the next gen too.

Praise the Maker. I really hope they don't show any D1DLC bs close to the first images/hard news because it would just taint my happiness.

They haven't said at all what consoles it will be released on. I don't think they would be so cagey about it if it was just a current-gen game.

That could mean anything, though. Maybe someone left him a donut and a latte on his desk as a surprise when he came into work this morning.

Eh. DA2 already stuck Flemeth in an amulet.
DA3 will break new ground in video gaming by pushing boundaries and setting new heights of innovation by baking Flemeth into a donut. Flemeth's shapeshifting prowess knows no bounds- glazed, peanut covered, boston cream, cinammon twist, custard filled, jelly filled, powdered sugar, glazed cruller, iced with sprinkles, apple fritter, even Timbits!- no pastry is too much for Asha'bellanar. All powered by the amazing next generation visuals of Frostbite 3™. Look for the cross promotional tie in with Dunkin Donuts and Tim Horton's.
