You shouldn't interpret it like that. These next two images feature characters that for sure died in Dragon Age 2 (the Arishok to the left side of the first image and Meredith to the right side of the second image).

I haven't seen the conference itself yet, but it seems to these images are just to showcase different cultural styles, as they are represented visually within the universe, rather than showcase the set of characters that we will see in Inquisition and other DA products in the near future.

In the Qunari picture , Salit , the Tal Vashoth is MOTA is also there.

You also have Meredith in the Chantry one.

 

I'm mostly curious about Big Blonde Mustache and Big Hammer guy from the Inquisition picture.

Plus the inset of IB's mouth reminded me of Rocky Horror, so today's gonna be a long day at work with that imagery stuck in my head.

I was curious about that too, and who the woman on the far right is supposed to be? If that's meant to be Celene, then boy she's ugly.

 

Also, Sera's early concepts had her looking like a fish. At least she turned out looking a lot better.

But probably not, considering this character doesn't seem, at least from this perspective, like they'd be an imposing presence at the party.
