Like, if I start DAI on Xbox 360, then get the X1 version later on, would I be able to use the Keep to transfer my saves and character info from the 360 version to the X1 version?

Actually they've said if you leave the Keep World State active after starting DAI with it then it will update with your actions. At least that is what I recall seeing somewhere, sometime.

 

Regardless the original question: The keep is 100% independent of whatever platform is used, it exists solely on the internet, it is not connected to xbox, ps or pc in any particular fashion. Changes made to the keep (including updating DAI progress) will be accessible from any platform (including if they suddenly released the PS5 and xbox 2 next year the keep would be able to work with them).

It holds world state data, to import into the next game, not save data. So you couldn't start on one platform, and continue on another. The decisions are marked, not trivialities like where you are or what you're wearing,

Gold usually happens a little closer to release. For this game I would not expect gold until after keep releases official. Which has a Oct 19 target last I heard.

 

True, but it feels like they're struggling to reach Gold. I mean one of the devs just tweeted that they finally got the music working for one level. Sounds like they still have a lot of bugs and tuning up.
