I believe BioWare uses a different definition of "alpha" than other companies. It seems like they've reached the stage that most people would consider "beta". So I wouldn't worry too much about it.

They are most likely playing old builds of the game, in my opinion. I doubt BW/EA want many people running around with up-to-date builds...

I really do have to congratulate Bioware and the dragonage team. As a straight gamer, i've never really been interested in playing a gay character, but the more we see of Sera and Dorian the more i'm excited to play an inquisitor who is.

 

Same boat.  Straight, but one of the most interesting romances seems to be Dorian.  So maybe my Inquisitor will discover certain strange...feelings...

The reason given for broodmothers being partial is because they're nonhuman. So my guess is that demons and darkspawn are exempt.
