that hasn't been confirmed yet, my guess is we don't get to play around in the prologue and just get some cinematic that explains what's been going on in Thedas prior to the peace conference before entering the CC or (as stated by someone else in the thread)we go straight to the CC and get a flashback in which we actually do get to play a bit before the Bang.

I thought they said you can. There's a number of ways they can do things:
- The game starts with the explosion, followed by the CC and then you jump back to before the explosion as a sort of '1 hour earlier' type thing you often see in movies or TV shows.
- You start off the game with the CC followed by a pre-Breach segment, and this demo just isn't really representative in such a way of the final product.
- They go the Mass Effect 2 route, only allow you to select your race, gender and maybe class, and give you a masked/helmet-wearing Inquisitor in the moments before the Breach, with the CC right after that.
- Or the game just starts right after the Breach. I think this is unlikely, as it would raise too many questions to be answered after the fact for players that haven't followed this game's marketing at all.

Isn't that a 1st for the DA series? I hate it. Going through Nightmare is going to be such a slog... 
I like the darkspawn of DA) slightly better and thought they didn't really look like orcs but of course I love the DA2's better graphical showing of the darkspawn. Also, I wish we saw all the hair options for the male and I wish we saw some male Qunari creation, he's been snubbed for a while.
The music is beautiful. Best it's ever been for this series IMO.

As a matter of interest, the forces of the Mage and Templar factions are not equal.
- Mages are arriving at a rate of 28/minute and Templars are arriving at a rate of 54/minute.
- On that basis, there are 93% more Templars arriving than Mages !
- If anyone wishes to watch the arrival of 10,000 Templars it will take 3hrs 6 minutes to watch.
- 10,000 Mages arriving will take the more pedestrian 5hrs 58 mins to view.
- Or it could be that 40 Templars are marching continually around a square to keep warm.

I also noticed that the templars were arriving faster, thought it was a really nice detail. It's well-established in the lore that they would be vaporized if they had to fight an equal number of Circle mages, even with all their anti-magic abilities.
They wouldn't set foot in a peace conference unless they heavily outnumbered the mages.

I have now made a ranged weapon called "Cool Story Bow" in Dragon Age Inquisition. Before @ritzyfoxx could. It adds Frost damage.

I didn't actually play The Witcher 2 (I know, I know, shame on me), but yeah they absolutely might do that. Like, Cassandra captures the PC, asks what happened and then we get to a flashback.
