Saying 'Ripped off' isn't exactly polite.
Anyway, I'll enjoy both games.
Should have have aimed at the poster not the developers. Could be misconstrued that way.

That isn't going to end well at all.

people always hate their superiors :^)
On the contrary, a cliffhanger is an ending which intentionally leaves the audience in suspense. I wasn't referring to the warden, I was referring to Hawke, who IS the protagonist of the story, and has disappeared.
PotC 2 is the definition of a cliffhanger ending- the point was to leave the audience in suspense for the next movie, which had already been filmed. Another example would be the matrix 2 or back to the future 2. The main plot has been resolved but the fates of the protagonist and the results of their actions are deliberately left hanging to encourage people to see the next movie.
Do they really want to go there? Because I have a feeling the reprisals would be worse. I understand confidence in their current title, but I wouldn't let it get to my head either.
Edit: Also, SHOTS FIRED!!

As a fan of both games it was really funny. I really doubt anyone at CDPR would see it as something other than a playful jab.

I can agree with this
At a company meeting and man Dragon Age looks HAWT!
Wonder how much crossover there is staff wise between the Next ME and DAI

On that note, I was interested to learn that Chris Priestly has joined the CDPR team as Community Manager.
I can imagine what would happen if someone just posted an image of one of the low res elven NPCs that were standing around Kirkwall in a response.
Or someone saying that Inquistion got slightly better graphics than The Witcher 2. Damn... the shitstorm of butthurt would be epic.
But noone sane would do that, thankfully.

Right. The internet would crash in what would be the equivalent of a riot on a football pitch after a rivalry match.
No, our potions can be used by a blank state character with not as much depth as Geralt
Which is just excellent if the in depth character is exactly the type of character you want to play.

The White Wolf >>>
Hate to burst the collective bubble, but there it is.
Game A has a game dynamic that people like. People say that Game B should have a dynamic like Game A.
Game B ends up having a dynamic like game A, People say Game B ripped off something from game A.
Makes sense.

Could never get into Witcher I just didn't like Geralt.
I think Aaryn had every right to say that.
It's perfectly true, after all - DA lets you play as a female, Witcher doesn't.
I imagine even the Witcher's developers can see the benefits of allowing a choice of genders, even if it's not a direction they wish to take right now.
I don't think that it is as easy as that. The Witcher and Dragon Age are vastly different when it comes to the core story design. Comparing the two in this regard is doomed to go nowhere logical. The Witcher is based on a novel with a specific male protagonist, while BioWare created their own IP. The world in The Witcher books is pretty sexist, but you can't say that it doesn't laugh at stereotypical male. Besides there are quite a few strong female characters that often drive the story.
That actually was a pretty lame comeback.
Which is just excellent if the in depth character is exactly the type of character you want to play.
Sure, but it's a fact that Geralt will have 10x the complexity of any Inquisition character, simplly because he's an existing character.
The benefit of having CC is obviously the customization, personally I prefer to have a well written protagonist with consistent character regardless of gender or size of adam's apple

This is what I'm hoping it is. Like Zack Synder and JJ. Abrams competition. They're both working on two of the biggest films in cinematic history and promoting each other's films through friendly sparring.
