I like the new video. it gave me some idea on how crafting works and I found a hairstyle to use for my male human Warrior if they don't have the afro temp fade available. Now, one personal gripe I have with the potions is that we are limited on what we can craft, I at least hope we can upgrade the threshold or else that is just too restricting.

Conaidering that spells and talents seem to base damage in % of weapon damage, are mages' spells weaker then others?

It's a complicated answer that would not fit into a tweet.

 

Now, I've always thought the "200% weapon damage" thing was a bonus the particular spell/ability gives to staff damage attacks of the relevant type.... rather than the damage of the spell being based on the staff damage.

 

Is it just me that was thinking that?  Maybe someone should tweet them that question.

Sure, but it's a fact that Geralt will have 10x the complexity of any Inquisition character, simplly because he's an existing character.

 

The benefit of having CC is obviously the customization, personally I prefer to have a well written protagonist with consistent character regardless of gender or size of adam's apple

No disputing that, the more that a game can control a main characters history the better story they can (See the Nameless one from pst) tell but it's a huge trade off in that the character is more like what writers want him or her to be than what the player wants.  Both ways can work but to say that either way is much better is not really valid.

I don't know.  I'm aware that Meer has a surprising range, but Blackwall didn't sound anything like him IMO.  Putting on an accent has a way of changing a person's voice, but still...I'm placing bets on another VA.
