I thought it was regularly scheduled dismemberments. Oh wait, that's on Tuesdays.

I thought Tuesdays was when we killed people to get their stuff? Either hawke lied to me or its best to stay home and fortify the house on on Tuesdays.

Also can someone ask if the male qunari hairstyles are the same as the female qunari? Since it seems all the other races share at least some hairstyles between genders I'm just curious if this trend continues with the qunari

I have two gripes: the facial hair looks glued on and I'd like smaller horns on the Qunari. Other than that, the CC seems good.

You control how big they are in the CC

Technically not true. There are full, broken, assymetrical, and hornless styles, but you can't actually control how big they are with a slider. I think slimgrin meant that they wanted full horns, but shorter.

It dawns on me that with only a single Specialization, that another system for healing had to be implemented, at least for Mages.

I've got to admit that I'm really surprised at just how many twitter users are put out by the lack of healing magic. In DA:O I almost never had a healing mage in the party simply because I disliked Wynne and I never felt the urge to spec my mage characters that way (always found crowd control or DPS to be just as useful). In DA2 I often ran with a healer and found the game to be easier when I did but I didn't have a whole lot of trouble when using parties without a dedicated healer either.

Healers, as in spirit healers were never mandatory even on nightmare in DAO or DA2, I hardly ever used them.

I don't know if its honestly all that many, its just the loudest people always get the most attention.  Or if you want to go old school, the squeakiest wheel gets fixed

But creation specialised mages would be more helpful than not having any. I imagine you would not be able to properly tackle the harder difficulties unless you had some creation spells under your belt :/.

I almost always chose Spirit Healer as a Spec choice, but rarely invested in actual spells; almost never in DA2.

Someone should ask Weekes about the availability of black hairstyles for female characters then. I would, but no twitter!

And black hair for males to, I don't want an ugly buzzcut, I at least want some afros and some fade haircuts with a good line up.

Maybe we should take the DAI vs Witcher discussion to a separate thread, I fear the Eye of Sauron Pinecone is upon us...

zLbRfVE.jpg

In the forum of DA: Inquisition, in the fires of Scuttlebutt,

The Dark ElitePinecone forged, in secret, a Master Thread, to control all others

And into this thread he poured his cruelty, his malice, and his will to dominate all posts

One Thread to rule them all

One by one, the free forums of BSN fell to the power of the Thread

But there were some...who RESISTED

A last Alliance of nerds and trolls marched against the armies of Pinecone

And on the slopes of Scuttlebutt, they fought for the freedom of the BSN

I have to say that I'm kinda happy they took away healing magic. I hated having to always take Wynne/Anders with me on nightmare. Since I always got Wynne in them middle of the game and all the spells she came with were buffs or heals and almost no damaging spells. Anders was a little better but I still don't like being pretty much required to bring a character.

And this is very true. Bioware is pretty bad with hair.

After my first campaign, I never had to go with Anders again except for personal quests. While it may have been easier to use a Spirit Healer, it certainly was not mandatory.

Will have to see the varied ways for healing first hand; as long as I can avoid Alchemy with the PC, I should be OK.

That's the neat thing. Both FPJ and Allegra are actually fans. It's cool to see that their actually excited about the game.

I did put a lot of practice in my sessions, as DA2 was the first game I played for rehab. But I doubt if I am a better gamer than anyone else here (and I refused to play Nightmare on DA2; not a fan of random Immunities).

Ooh, I meant on Nightmare, I thought I put that in my post ? Yeah you definitely don't need a healer on any of the other difficulties.
