so if there are 400 crafting recipes and 150 of them are armors, that leaves 250 for weapons, potions, grenades and bees

There's a clearer explanation of schematics and crafting in the link that UltimateGohan just posted:

Why I have a feeling that most of those numbers are inflated.
They aren't, someone already did the math on some of it and found Bioware rounded down on the Skyhold combinations. So don't be so pessimistic, be happy!

Yes, BSN, when you get 40+ more weapon types in DA:I than in other DA game, you complain it isn't 150-200
1) 50 wouldn't be "few"
2) It's 200 "upgrade schematics"
50 sounds exactly like few if you stop to think about it for a secound ...it would be 10 different swords, 10 daggers, 10 staffs, 10 bows, 10 shields
hopefully only unique weapons have upgrade schematics

Look at his level. I think we're going to encounter him early in DAI.
Good spot! I really hope we get him, Cassandra and Dorian early lol

Well, I'm trying not to be too optimistic because I can be disappointed again. It's a crappy feeling. ![]()

It wouldn't surprise me if we encounter established characters (Cassandra and Varric) first and new companions later on.

About the "200 abilities", it looks like there's a Up Arrow right next to it. So I think it IS saying over 200 abilities.
Anyway, I'm so psyched.

I'm loving the staff models so far. Which is good news, because some of the staves in DA2 were BUTT UGLY. The mummified cat, the random orange fungus-looking one....

The mummified cat staff still exists in DA:I. In fact most of the staves we've seen are just recycled from DA2 and DAO.
That staff looks like Malcolm's honor.
It is Malcom's Honor.

I know it's a little picky and I know it's marketing but the numbers are slightly miss leading because things stop being available when you make particular choices.
For example, there aren't four voices available to everyone. It's two voices per gender.
There is of course immense customization and I am super happy about that in general. I am not having a go at the devs, or the game, I just think marketing a being overly simple and it's slightly miss leading.

Uhm...but most of them are re-used models from DA2...
