I can't even tell you how happy I am to see the spellbook hanging off that mage's belt. That's a neat flavour detail I have always loved to see.
I wonder if that will disappear if we choose to wear a mage material customized version of warrior armour (like templar armour).

I'd say the shots are fairly recent, since Varric for a while didn't have earrings, and in today's Shot he has them.
I still mourn Anders' missing earring.

Yeah, I doubt they'll be present with a non-mage outfit.

@Hrungr
If it isn't too much bother, and if it doesn't seem like something the devs wouldn't want to answer at this point, would it be possible to ask if there is a chance that the DA:O Warden could potentially appear in person in a future DLC for Inquisition? Griffons were mentioned as a possibility, maybe, in the future and the Warden is slightly less unlikely than a griffon ![]()
If not, that is no problem! I appreciate your hard work on this thread, Hrungr, and thank you! ![]()

Interesting. It'll be Nice if they added this.

It's funny. The rogues have their lockpicks, the mages have their spellbooks and warriors have war-horns for taunting. Immensely well thought out and cool.

I guess Bioware got tired of everyone saying he looks like Nicolas Cage.
Don't like the look of a Dragon Age character? Say they look like Nic Cage, and they're guaranteed to change them.
That's why Darkspawn were changed. People kept complaining that all they were fighting were armies of Nic Cages.

Thanks! But I can tell you right now, there is no way they'll answer that question. At best, you'd get an "anything is possible" answer. It's a story-based question, so they won't touch it... Sorry...
David Gaider did touch on the Warden's situation in DAI another thread however...
It's been stated elsewhere, but I'll just say it again:
All we've said is that you won't see your DAO Warden appear in-game.
That does not mean he/she is not mentioned. It does not mean he/she is not in any way involved in the story, or that you won't find out what happened to him/her with regards to the "disappearance". It also doesn't mean that any of these things definitely will happen either, of course, but to assume the lack because it's not stated outright doesn't really follow. We're not going to re-assure you further, other than to let you play the game and find out for yourselves.
If the suggestion is that saying the DAO Warden went missing at the end of DA2 meant implying they would play a larger role in the sequel, however, as in that they would appear in person...sorry if someone finds that disappointing, but as cool as that might (potentially) have been, I don't think that follows either.
We collect a lot of information on the choices in previous games to let you build a consistent world state, and those choices will play into DAI in various ways. That's all I'll really say on the topic.

Better to just read the article and new pics and not look into the comments of gamespot. I am surprised they are not bored with their own monotony by now.
Solas still looks...eh. I guess playing as a female elf will take a back seat for me this time around (sorry Solas). I guess I could play as a female elf for Cullen but...hm. Not sure. So many options!
The battlemage outfits looks so cool 8D. Can't waaaaiiiit.

Thank you, Hrungr! No problem, and thank you for the quote from Mr. Gaider!
It is early to speak of plot-sensitive elements, and this gives a lot of food for thought.
