And frankly I think that applies anywhere on the forum except for a specific tagged topic (and I'm not going there).

 

I'm sad for BioWare actually and many of us who prefer to keep the game fresh.

We're six weeks out from EA Access - did some numpty in Russia not twig that the release date had pushed back 6 weeks, that's what it looks like.

 

Can't say I'm happy about this at all....

I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing. It should just have it's on thread so people don't get spoiled.

 

I don't see an issue with people who want more info taking advantage of leaks like this. I just don't want it to seep into threads it shouldn't

I think he meant theoretically as in you're a legal adult if you can get the game. Which I suppose is true since my gamestop won't sell games to 17 year olds. Have to be 18 or older.

I don't know about Russia, but in Europe DA's usually classified as '18+' (M is 17+, right?) which is the highest rating things really get.

Yeeah I don't think locking it was the best idea, they might start seeping into other threads now and that worries me.

It really depends on the retailer. Legally speaking, you can buy them at 17. On the other hand, many retailers won't even stock AO games.

I think it's the equivalent of when the person broke the Keep NDA.

Both are real information released before embargo.

(Unlike the achievements leak which BioWare were not confirming and so were not locking)

 

There's no reason for BioWare to support a discussion over materials clearly not intended to be in the public domain.

So yes, I understand their stance.

 

That the information is out there is no more or less dangerous for there being a specific thread discussing it, or not.

Ahem, how about those tweets, huh?! That elf is seriously so great! Can you imagine the amount of freckle study that had to go into some of the complexions?! I need to save up money ASAP to get in on that artbook. I know I've griped about bits here and there but this is seriously a game that had a strong group of visual concept goals and executed it well. We can already tell the art side of the game is going to be nothing short of stunning.

18+ in Russia as well. And thankfully there is not even a hint on any kind of censorship that is prepared for DAI.
