Honestly, aside from some sort of built in, or dedicated modding support from bioware, i can't think of anything that would be "Awesome PC News". Inititally I was thinking maybe more than 8 slots for UI, but honestly, I actually don't mind that at all (I played Guild Wars 1 and 2), and also, that's something that would actually significantly change the balance of and experience of the game for PC players.

 

I guess maybe text chat for DAMP... I can hope.

 

For every other company making multiplayer PC games, text chat is standard, I can't name a single MP game without text chat except ME3. For BioWare it would be big news.

The Migrant Fleet Marine Special Forces do not need to communicate with anyone not trained the same way as they were.

 

Only when paired with other MFM SF, their combat abilities multiple with communication.

Cant get into Rebels for the same reasons as Clone War....The animation is too childish and looks like claymation....meh.

PvZ Garden Warfare was voice chat only, and mics were on by default. Constant noise from players with laptops who didn't disable their mic.

Other than PC specs (come on give them to us already!) I doubt it will be much of anything.

 

Whenever i hear the word "awesome" come out of bioware after the "Button Aweful...I mean Awesome" of DA2 I gag a little.

I guess NDAs are pretty standard now, but it makes me wonder what we won't be disclosing that people didn't know was there already.  I mean, I doubt hordes of competitors are rushing to make their own Dragon Age Keeps, and as for spoilers...well, it's all spoilers, of course, but spoilers for previous games.  

 

Is it going to periodically flash messages at us like "It was his sled" or "He was dead all along" or "He's beating himself up"?

It is more to cover legal assets. There are lots of little things that other companies may take advantage of. Coding is it's own unique beast and always good to be cautious.

I figured as much.  It was just amusing to think there would be something be something truly surprising inside it.  

 

I'm guessing we got the big surprises from the trailer though - awesome art, an animated narrative, Brian Bloom.  I honestly thought they were just going to do pulldown menus until I saw the trailer.
