I have watched pretty much all the videos till now but I am done with gameplay videos. I will not watch the youtube videos as I feel I know plenty and I was never a fan of let's play videos. If another feature video comes out I am there though. I am not against the youtube videos tho, more marketing the Better. RPGs are getting more and more main stream with rpg features sneaking into fps, sports games, racing, even turn based strategy. So the more exposure RPGs get the better. The better this game does the better our dlc and expansions will be.

From the start of origin I always spam stops in order to give orders. I simply find that extremely usefull for micromanagement and letting my range characters unharmed. (Well, because ennemies could spam everywhere in the second opus, I often had to move them during combat anyway.)

Yes, and they also said that there was more PC stuff being released this week as well.

 

But more gameplay vids featuring the controller UI isn't exactly my idea of "awesome" news.

Personally, I watch LP's for the humor, banter, and perhaps to see the Player's reactions to a game I enjoy (eg; Gopher, GamerMD83). Most of them I skip, pass, or avoid for whatever reasons including major Spoilers.As for me, I plan on utilizing Tactical cam, and spamming Pause and Tab keys like always. This is not recommended for recording perhaps, but I have no plans to do so; world is already in enough pain currently....

Pretty sure I'd be boring to watch too... with all my pause and preparing.

Although I'm sure someone would find the occasional friendly fire deaths to be hilarious.

There's one youtuber who I wish was shown it, he's always amusing while playing and I dont think he's done any DA stuff before.

Not yet, but there is still today, tomorrow, and Friday as far as working days "this week" that the info can still drop.

Getting youtubers to promote their games is going to be fairly standard practice for big releases in the next few years. BF4 did it heavily, let them record footage and self-publish. But in that case they had a few high profile battlefield players (or at least shooters) with many viewers. Here it seems like they just got some big youtube names and ran with it.

Yep, I saw those bf4 youtube videos. I'm actually glad they did it for DAI. The more the word gets out that this is going to be a great, game the better.

Have any devs confirmed yet if the The Inquisitor will be referred to by his surname, or is it just Inquisitor/Herald of Andraste? Cause it'll come off awkward and unnatural if my companions who I've developed a close friendship/relationship with are still calling me Inquisitor when we're just having small talk.

He can be called by his surname.
They also hinted at different titles other then Herald/Hero of Andraste.

I believe they've already confirmed that people who are close to you will refer to you by your surname, yes.

I know it won't make a big difference,but would you play as mage or DW for an inquisitor who will romance solas?can't decide!
