Even though I'm not Angry Joe's biggest fan, I agree with this.
Maybe they wanted to show the reactions and opinions of those who aren't familiar with the series or the genre to get more unfamiliar players interested? Although I would definitely have enjoyed the videos more if the Youtubers hadn't been so, well, clueless (and I don't mean in combat, but in general). But hey, new content is always new content,
Both. They are fantastic and I want them all. If I really had to choose, though, I'd go with red.

It was done by EA, not Bioware. I think they wanted Youtubers with a large number of subscribers, not really paying attention to weather or not they were big fans of the series.
I'm cautiously predicting some kind of toolkit announcement, to be launched a month or two after DA:I. At this point it seems like a pretty big "good to have" feature for PC players, and something that constantly gets brought up by the super-hardcore people.
But who knows? Aaryn probably means the Keep beta or something.

I love Joe he is about the only reveiwer I trust becasue he is honest and gives a gamers veiw of games (he can rant sometimes be we all do when promoises turn into a polished turd.)
Still, Angry Joe has a ton of subscribers and is already a DA fan. Hell, he even liked DA2 more or less. He would certainly be positive about the changes they have made for Inquisition, based on his criticisms of DA2.
I don't think reaching out to someone who reviews video games on youtube and giving them a private playthrough for him to use for marketing purposes is a good idea, I'm glad they didn't invite him honestly.

According to his twitter, Jesse Cox has Inquisition footage that he will upload later today, so they didn't only fly out small scale YouTubers.

lol! their "pre-crunch" figures. and i'm pretty sure when david said that thing abt never seeing darrah looking quite so ripped, i heard darrah in the background saying, "Hey!" 
but yeah I appreciate them, i appreciate what they're trying to do. you know, awhile back i was watching sum interview w/flynn and sum journo. it was maybe a year ago, or so?
anyway, there came a point when this journo wanted to ask a question abt the "fans". and ofc he started out in this smug, condescending manner. , "well, you know, ....*dramaticsmugpause*....your fans.." then insert smug condescending chuckle. my solar plexus region immediately tensed up. no joke. bracing for the incoming dis i thought was sure to come.
i was surprised however when flynn immediately retorted with , "Oh, but we have rarely gone wrong listening to our fans." it was firm, i tell ya. and real. the look of surprise and shock on that journos face was priceless.
ofc, aaryn went on to explain that although there are many seats at the table, the fans are definitely among one of those seats. they have a voice. amongst many others, but a respected voice at the table, nonetheless.
so, yeah, i appreciated that and i appreciate what BW is working very hard to do. sure, we get on each others nerves sometimes, but you know, hey, that's just the way it is. and sure nothing any human being makes will ever be perfect, but BW is still my go to game dev.
and i like the ppl there. they're a pretty decent bunch.
edit: while i'm sure the devs are very pretty, i meant pretty decent. lol!

... The post I quoted said verbatim: "why not give preview version to something like AngryJoe or TotalBisquit who have bigger audience and do play RPGs so the combat would be showcased better", so the audience size was a factor, and the only one I could comment on as I have not seen Jesse play party based RPGs (plenty of other RPGs though) and as such cannot comment on how he would fare with the combat.

Assassin's Creed is far from button smash like God of War or Devil May Cry... Waiting to see what's Aaryn Flynn was talking about, they just don't stop teasing us, haha. Today starts a convention on Brazil, DAI will have a booth there, but as far as I know, there will be no playable demo.
