Debunked, per Word of Gaider. Templars need lyrium to maintain their abilities. In the comics, Alistair starts taking lyrium again:
Pity. I think it would've been an interesting development if Templars are actually innate magic users....

Dragon Age: Inquisition (Gameplay) Review
And added to the Mega-Thread: http://forum.bioware...9th/?p=17459954
I didn't watch the video but labeling it a review is pretty misleading. Pretty sure this random youtuber didn't play through the whole game especially if he didn't even know it had Multiplayer....
I couldn't watch more than a minute of this. I really wish these you tubers did their research.
"There might be multiplayer, I don't know though, it's only a rumour"
How about you look it up!
He's going to confuse some people with the comment that only rogues can close the rift. ![]()

It actually makes me a little mad. Are you -so- lazy that you can't do some research before you make a review? There aren't 4 classes, there are 3, and that would have been abundantly obvious if he thought, "Hmm, you know I'm not actually sure on this whole class thing, I'm gonna look it up real quick."

Oh you missed some hillarity, like "Of course only the rogue can close rifts."
And he says it like that "And of course only the rouge can shut down the rift" Pathetic... This what EA brings instead of AbilltyDrain?! Dammn it. And it looks like he thinks you can only have Solas Cass and Varric in your party...
They pick people like the above because they have hundreds of thousands of subscribers.
Giving a game to someone like this only to get more audience among people who are unfamiliar with Dragon Age... I don't think this is a good idea, because majority of comments are negative opinions and things like "**** EA, The Witcher 3 is better". I don't think those poorly played gameplays can change those people's mind.
They should give this game to someone like Angry Joe. He LOVES Dragon Age. I know he beat Origins multiple times and he really liked DA2.
If Cass can have Templar skills without being addicted to lyrium, I hope that will also apply to our Inquisitor.
also, has ( or could ) anyone tweet the devs and ask if companion skill trees will differ slightly from the trees available to the Inquisitor? especially in terms of the placement of focus skills?
cuz there's some debate in the Skills Tree thread about that.

I have similar thoughts.
I mean I understand EA wanting to show DA off to people who maybe aren't giant fans of DA but they literally called in the most clueless gamers I've ever seen. People who cannot even look up the most basic info on dragonage.com
I don't believe people who can barely play and have absolutely no knowledge on the game make good candidates for these pre-release LP's. It almost tarnishes the image of the game in my opinion. For us hardcore fans, we know the game will be played...properly by us, but maybe some other people are looking at the game and are thinking "wow why does this game play so strangely", and don't realize it's just that youtuber not having a clue how to play a tactical RPG.
You now get a glimpse of what developing the game is like, and why some things wind up the way they do. Hint: it's not just "that youtuber" not having a clue, it's also what you get out of the average playtester(s) and gaming population at large.I mean I understand EA wanting to show DA off to people who maybe aren't giant fans of DA but they literally called in the most clueless gamers I've ever seen. Does that mean there's no more stat requirements for wearing gear?
Gear is level based.

Obviously...nothing more awkward than wearing a strength amulet to get enough strength to wear a strength-focused chestplate that in turn increases my strength enough to wield my strength sword.

The funny thing is that Angry Joe isn't an RPG player. If anything, he enjoyed the more action packed gameplay of DA 2 over the slower paced DA: O combat. I'm looking forward to his review of DA: I and its changes.

He's a huge BioWare fan in general. He even made a freaking Indoctrination video when ME3 came out, lol.
And that was the first time I experienced negativity on the forum, someone attacking a person saying this forum is nice.
The BSN is fine until the chips are down. Then we eat each other.
