I go for realism (huh fantasy !) a mage that can't heal at some level is a damn poor mage, potions more unreal

A ) Both easy-quick-heal mages and healing potions are inherently unrealistic.

B ) Focus is on making game more fun.

I think realism disappeared with the word "mage".  That being said, not all mages are healers.  Case in point would you let your mechanic remove your appendix or perform heart surgery?  I wouldn't.  Magic crosses a variety of spectrums (sp? usage?), and mages will naturally gravitate to the spectrum in which they have a talent.  So, it is quite possible that a really good mage may know nothing about healing or healing spells.

Nah, it's literally an option just for characters that are lazy or evil for the sake of being evil. There aren't any benefits (which makes sense)

it would have been a nice benefit to be able to loot the town and take everyone's stuff...but even without that i still let them die

Edit: also, yeah, I'd rather something else than the first 5 minutes. I mean, I'm avoiding most of the gameplay videos anyway, so I could--and will--just not watch if they go that route, buuuut....loading up a new game for the first time is like, a beautiful and sacred moment. I'll never, ever forget the first five minutes of Mass Effect 2 because I went into it unspoiled. I can't imagine wanting to ruin that for myself. XD

I really, really hope that they won't spoil the beginning of the game. Actually, I really don't want them to show anything that relates to the story or interesting side quests.

 

In all honesty, I just like to hear more of the American VAs. We've already heard Alix in both the Hinterlands and the Fallow Mire demo, and we got to hear Harry in the various Emerald Grave demos from the YouTubers. So yeah, I'd like to hear more of Jon and Sumalee. (I also would like it if they get to have their own trailers too!)

 

I'd also like to learn about specializations a bit more, but at the same time it's something that I wouldn't mind learning about while playing the actual game.

 

Hmm, oddly enough, I would like it very much if they released high res screenshots of all the available Inquisitor presets (which would be 40 in total, assuming that there are only 5 presets per each race/gender combination). Which probably won't happen, but still. It's a nice way to see the capabilities and the range of the CC without watching the videos.

 

 

Also, happy Thanksgiving, both to the devs and to the Canadian BSNers!

I didn't actually have a clear picture in my head regarding how the summoned blade would work. But this...is...pretty...AWESOME!
