This is... awesome to a tortuous degree.

I'd have never guessed it looked this good judging by the other 100+ videos out there.

 

Yeah, it's because of Youtubes compression. It severely hurts video quality and it also caps frame rate to 30 FPS.

Maybe a madwoman, a healer, a kilt-wearing warrior and... um... some... kind... of vampiric monster which drains your stats.

does healing still exist lore-wise? Do we have healers in Skyhold, or in our army, who take care of the wounded after battle?

Absolutely still exists. Just rarer and slower, as I believe the DAO writers wanted it to be. More like magical surgery.

And yes, we assume Skyhold's medic-type non-mage healers are assisted by mages with healing ability.

Also, we -do- have healing spells.  They're just more powerful and less common.  Again, probably as it was meant.

When a character is written, is there a different writer for each personality? i.e. Diplomatic, Sarcastic, etc.

The PC, you mean? (Warden, Hawke, Inquisitor?) No, written by all. @davidgaider establishes voice, editors keep it consistent.

I've always rolled my eyes at people who start talking about pixels and fps and whatever, but... my god. It ALMOST makes me wish I were getting it on PC, if I didn't hate playing games on the computer and had something that could even come close to playing Inquisition.

My internet isn't good enough to stream that video in 1080p without buffering every two seconds, so I had to torrent it to watch it properly. DEFINITELY WORTH IT.
