I just loved how Cassandra calls you "Herald" basically immediatly after you say you don't like being called "Herald".
Just like "Well, f*** you i am going to call you that anyway!"
Cass also disapproves at the end of the conversation.

Perhaps this is somewhat based on which Staff element is in use currently?
Mike said it's a fixed effect, not customisable.
Just started watching the stream, I'm so happy they finally showed some more cutscenes!! I've been dying to see some story stuff, but they have been so tightlipped about it.
Also craaap, now I don't know whether to romance Cassandra of Josephine on my straight guy playthrough, hnng.
Exactly. Screw the chantry...you want the rifts close? Burn all the sisters.
The elves have plenty of mages why do we need to go cap in hand to an organization that wants to capture and imprison all of our Keepers. If the elves close the rift on there own that would give them great publicity with the common folk of Thedas.
It's more about people who want nothing to do with the Chantry. There are a lot of us. The game seems to be pushing us towards the Chantry if we want it or not.
I mean more the aesthetics and appearance rather than builds, the spirit blade attack just wasn't as epic and visually interesting as the description made it sound
I'm sure that for people who like to micromanage their character builds and damage output, KE will be really interesting and unique.
If you didn't catch all the Knight Enchanter powers - look here: http://forum.bioware...ead/?p=17499712
Note the "Decloaking Strike" and "Resurgence" in particular. Also doesn't hurt your Spirit blade can deflect projectiles - including dragon breath!
Didn't watch all of the stream, what did they say about astrariums?
Not in the stream, at the start of the video Hrungr just posted - it's also in the Mega Thread. Only interesting thing in the video, really.
Urgh the twitch stream is taking ages to load for me, is there a YouTube link up yet?
Not punny enough. I'd be running either Debug_Commander or Console_Commander.
Brb, changing Origin name to Norton_Commander. Old school, yo.

It froze at 28:27 for me :/. Now I can't even get it to reload.
Still want to be able to have all my talents available to me and ready for use when ever I want, I hope they patch that.

New DAI IE images:

I suppose the "interior fitted with imprinted red silk" has been ditched to make way for the moulded interior.... God how I hate moulded interiors, I like collector's edition boxes that I can use for whatever I want
.
Damn, hopefully it gets uploaded to youtube. Twitch just doesn't work for me.
So, any new on fps-lock for PC? It's interesting why stream was in 30 fps, while twitch can support all 60.
I doubt very much the game will have any sort of frame rate lock, that is not a thing that has happened with any frostbite 3 game i have played. Also if it can run in 4k it sure as hell can run at higher frames than 30. Not to mention there is already 60FPS videos out there

It was just streamed at 30 for a better stream bitrate.

BTW, my favorite dwarf from now:

Maker help me, the dwarves are so attractive in DAI.

Bioware set the internet to 30 fps? You monsters!
Barrett, to pick up on something earlier in the thread, is auto-attack still in on PC and consoles? It sounded like Mike was saying we'd need to manually press the basic attack button...
I dont have tiwtter but I would be gratful if someone responded to him and suggest to do all of the other specs to showcase
