Aaryn Flynn @AarynFlynn

So how was the @dragonage @Twitch stream today? Any ideas for future ones?

It would be nice if they could stream some MP , I mean we've seen a lot of the solo game.

It was just streamed at 30 for a better stream bitrate.

Ah, thanks for that. Honestly, i never streamed anything so i wasn't aware of that feature.

Yay, i love playing games on 60 fps. I already know what to decrease to make DAI run on higher framerate on my mashine. That's the main reason i still playing on PC, btw

Barrett, to pick up on something earlier in the thread, is auto-attack still in on PC and consoles? It sounded like Mike was saying we'd need to manually press the basic attack button...

I'd like to confirm a thing or two back at work tomorrow before answering further, but in tactical view on PC there's definitely autoattack.

Is the full twitch stream on youtube? I really wanted to see it before going to bed, but after over an hour of streaming twitch has only streamed about 20 minutes. Not sure if its because my inet sucks, because twitch sucks or if its simply due to high load :P

Why, Ms Regan, that would be 36 days here in the US.

- if I can telepathically respond to her through themikefest, that is. :)

I doubt they would answer me that question, but i would like to know if the shorter execution time of advisors for certain operations will mean that that advisor is actually the best option.

For example:

Operation to get Gold - Shorter for Josephine - makes sense, since she is good in trade and aquiring gold.

Operation to find an Author - Shorter for Leliana - makes sense, since she is good finding out secrets.

Operation to appease the Dalish - Shorter for Cullen - Makes no sense. The dalish are worried that you might be held by the inquisition against your will. Now Cullen wants to send down a group of soldiers swearing that i am totally not held against my will. I doubt they would believe that coming from armed forces.

Exactly.  Screw the chantry...you want the rifts close? Burn all the sisters.

To me it looks like you are bypassing the Chantry's head honchos, and instead appealing to the people themselves. The sister in question appears to be well loved because of her charitable acts, and you plan to use that good will to build enough support to convince either the mages or the Templar's to aid you. Heck even though the Chantry has given you the middle finger, they no longer have a military arm to enforce anything so a lot of people got their wish granted right there.

Well this sounds bad, why would auto attack be removed from basic third person combat? Not everyone likes to play these games as action games.

Auto attack was the main thing I liked about the combat of DA, and I've always been more of a fan of third person. Seems ridiculous to remove a defining trait of the series...ugh..

I'm also afraid to ask....but is there toggle walk on PC anymore? Hell, even hold to walk like the last two ME games. I'm a big fan of being immersed and sprinting around a city or non-hostile area is definitely not something I want to do. It's sad that devs often neglect PC gamers in this sense, players who use controllers can walk in any game they want yet PC gamers only get a select few. Hopefully DAI is one of them.......
