But even DAO let you play an evil character.

 

Just because you're not destroying the world doesn't mean you're saving it for heroic/noble reasons. Self interest works just as well.

Wouldnt that be more of a microsoft thing...considering the 900p is the maximum for the xbone's hardware...

Nope There are quite a few games at 1080p on the Xbox. It's more about understanding the system.

A while ago Microsoft freed up GPU space allocated to the kinect for general use and several in-development games (Destiny being the most notable, which got a day one patch that increased the resolution to 1080p) turned around and said they could up the resolution from 900p to 1080p, considering how long DA:I has been in development it's possible that 900p was decided before this change.
