I was just catching up...

ooo, now i feel all light headed. i think it was the tweet abt the writers pit hostile takeover that set me on a precarious course.

well, cheering is confirmed for DA3. Whether or not it's w/matchstick arms has yet to be confirmed.

So, anyone figure out what FAT stands for? Something related to combat, it seems. At least we know what BOS is now...

So, I think the main things I got from today, other than many lulz, is that FB3 is super super pretty, there will be killer butt nugs and sweatered monkeys, and that the reveal itself will be at E3. Yeh, that's not really news now as we knew they were going to show DA3 stuff at E3, but I know a couple people were saying that the reveal could still happen beforehand. However, since they said today that they had to wait until E3 before they could talk about things, we can confirm that E3 is The Reveal.

*edit* Also, very disappointed there were no kitties.

FAT could be Fabrics and Textures.

I'm home now and sadly gobbled up all of the tweets before dinner. I'll have to drink later to make up for my unseemly eagerness.

Serenai and DaytheElf, thank you both so much. You both kicked major booty today.

Now lessee what did I learn today?

1) sandstorms and ice and occasionally water. Environmental effects. Sounds so good to me

2) Also sounds like we are indeed gonna traveling quite a bit. Diff locales abound

3) Something old, something new....something borrowed, something blue

4) Wolves?

5) Big Horns...

6) Writing and editing team has cool new toolset

7) there are secret factions w/in the DA team: QAE--obviously the quality assurance of.....espresso team. RIP---uh, rendering indecent positions team. Annd FAT---what is that?...the, hmm, flaming andraste's ****** team? Ha!

8) John Epler. Oh, Lud, Son. Step away from the Espresso.

9) Nugs Gone Wild. Which is actually more frightening to me than the mysterious big bad.

hmmm, I haven't learned anything today, have I? Hahahahaha! Ah....E3.

Please do not presume to judge for my ignorance on the matter, but wouldn't the presence of a quality assurance team suggest that development is quite far along?

Sweatered monkeys? That makes me think of the movie "Bring it On" where Kirsten Dunst's little brother calls the cheerleading team a bunch of sweater monkeys. Will there be a tie-in between Bring it On and DA3? Or cheerleaders?

Maybe cheerleaders with matchstick arms?

If we're going to a place a bit more "French", sandstorms sound like The Western Approach. Brings to mind Adamant Fortress, for those that read Asunder.

Short answer: No necessarily
Medium answer: QA isn't only about testing the end product.
Long answer: Check the gamasutra articles links in this thread.

I believe 11 total... unless you count any of the information mentioned today to be a reveal or "real" information... in which case you would need to tip your bottle up.

As with all drinking games, it is much wiser to count a drink as a swig of beer rather than a shot of liquor.

We lost good men to liquor drinking games. So many good men...
