Aaryn said they're in cert now, so I imagine it's "any day now".Shouldn't they have gone gold by now? Seems like it's cutting it close to be finished with certification and disc manufacturing, or whatever.

Does anyone know if anything has been mentioned about the Vallaslin (probably spelled that wrong) for our Dalish Inquisitors yet?
Just curious if they were still going to do it or if it became a no-go.
Only that there's something being worked on, and it will be posted when it's ready. There's no timeline for it.

Man, the art on some of those Keep tiles is just gorgeous. I'm hoping we can make collage wallpapers out of them at some point, text-free. That would be yet another massive DAI-inspired time-sink, for sure.
Do any devs (or BSN people) know if Amazon Deluxe Edition has the flames of the inquisition armor/weapons available? I found nothing in the official description..but it seems weird it comes with the other stuff and not that.
Every preorder should get the Flames of the Inquisition gear, but best to ask a dev in Scuttlebutt if you want to check (it might've been a limited run of codes or something, I don't know).
Do they necessarily have to tell us that they have gone gold, though?Shouldn't they have gone gold by now? Seems like it's cutting it close to be finished with certification and disc manufacturing, or whatever.
There, got through my bug resolves, now to playthrough!
Looks like archer has tipped the scales!

I guess they don't have to, but most companies make a pretty huge deal out of going Gold. ![]()

Doubles the surprise factor most awesomely, no doubt.
"Oh god, it's a Krogan Qunari! Brace for the charge!"
"Wait, ma'am, I think he's... pulling out a bow?"
"What? That's impossib-- aaarrghhhhh!"
"I knew I put a point into Arrow of Slaying for a reason. Man, that never gets old."

I don't think they have to, but it's a major milestone, the last one before actual release and, especially on a game that's been delayed, a good boost to consumer peace-of-mind. I can't imagine them not wanting to announce it. That being said, the turnaround seems to be a lot shorter than it used to be (in my completely naive view of development based on little to nothing but oogy-googy feelings and probably faulty memories). Destiny and Watch Dogs, for instance, both only went gold about 3 weeks before release. I imagine Bioware would be looking to get done by the end of this week.
Edit: Hgrungrrrrrrr *shakes fist*
Edit Edit: yeah that's right, I added a g, you wanna fight about it?

I picture him actually just carrying around a ballista

They only gets 5 shots, but in exchange can attack from 5 times farther away. ![]()
so @OminousGiggle would like it known that there is a disappointing lack of "Dorian in a maid outfit" fanart
do with this what you will
i’m holding out for Sailor Dorian, Sailor Bull, Sailor Cullen, and Sailor Bara Blackwall

I'm still disappointed they didn't put in "Headbutt" as a Qunari response to... well, any question.

"I like this Inquisitor! He understands!"
>Quest chain immediately resolved
>Inquisition Power +3
If there's a situation almost impossible to resolve peacefully as a Qunari, it's only fair they get one with a headbutt shortcut to a peaceful resolution. ![]()

It's better to take general questions about the game to Scuttlebutt. Devs are replying to many of the topics posted there, and this thread isn't really the best place to be asking about anything and everything.
Does anyone know if passive abilities work if they aren't equipped in the hot bar? If not, could you ask on twitter? I looked through the thread and didn't see any answer.
As far as I know, you don't slot passive abilities they are always on.
