You and Hrungr do the Maker's work.

I think he's on a coffee break.
That's why we need ElitePinecone and Hrungr to take up the slack when the makers on a break.

I think we may had a psychotic break in our room. That or I'm still waking up.
Also, CGI trailers are often created by a different company.
Personally, I'm glad they aren't doing one. CGI is just a waste of time.
It represents no gameplay or how the game is gonna look.
I think it depends on the cinematic and the game. For Dragon Age im not fussed at all about there not being anymore cinematics, seeing as the cinematics, while awesome, were mostly a marketing thing to present the characters and showed events that ended up not being part of the game at all. Hawke's duel in the DA2 cinematic for example is nothing like the actual ingame event. ![]()
To give a different example, if anyone's familiar with Blizzards Warcraft games, for most of the recent expansions, they've gone with a more storydriven approach to the cinematics. Basically they featured an event that kicks off the expansion itself, and gives you a cool look at the setting and the villain, which is a nice way to present the game in my opinion. ![]()
Anyhow, it really just depends on the game, I don't think Dragon Age really needs cinematic trailers personally ![]()
Yeah thanks it's the same time as the others but I know quite a few people have gone to the feed an hour late on the previous events.
Yeah, they got the GMT time wrong in the official announcements.

Ha, I started playing DA:O at a time when I was not aware CGI trailers even existed, and I was mighty confused when the game looked very different from the Sacred Ashes trailer. (Yes, I was very new to gaming back then.)
Get the feeling they're going to announce it's gone gold tomorrow.

I was completely oblivious to DA in general when i first played the game and was pleasantly surprised
Later on I saw the cinematic and was surprised at the different tone if you will of that video compared to the game. As for cinematics in general, Blizzard games have never dissapointed on that front over the years for me ![]()

He's gotta get dem pumpkin spice lattes while they're in season yo!
Methinks Mr. Darrah has a type he likes.

Soon enough. They're staying in the offices after 4 am so that is a sign to me.

Usually games don't go gold until much closer to release, in my past experience, but if so then I wont complain, lol.

My guess is that the no one wants the game to go gold more than the Devs themselves.

SKYHOLD! GET HYPE!
I just bloody love having my own castle in these games, sure you can complain about Awakening having plenty of bugs, but it was very nice to build up the fortifications of Vigil's Keep. Im really hyped up to see the options we'll be having with Skyhold
