How bizarre.
If they really did go to the effort of hiring an outsourced team to fix the video, why waste all that money and scrap it entirely? And why did it take six months or whatever?
I couldn't care less about the Cullen video but stringing those fans along like that is a bit unfortunate, IMO.

....Because the fixing didn't work?
It just seems like it would've been obvious from the very beginning if the recording was so bad that they couldn't salvage it.
(and heck, I doubt the Cullen fans would've minded if they just released the raw video, however bad it was)
Endlessly promising and delaying the video only to then scrap it is a pretty mystifying thing.
Love the varying vegetation w/in the courtyard! Will we see it change per season? Snow in winter, etc?
The season's won't go through any changes, maybe something we will have time to look at next go around!

The vegetation doesn't make any sense. Skyhold is high up in the mountains and yet everything looks lush and green.

They just used the (formerly lost) Sacred Ashes of Andraste as fertilizer for Skyhold's gardens.

I'm pretty sure it's an ordinary castle and not a magic castle. Would be nice if they did explain it in game though. Something like:
Random NPC 1: "I'm surprised those herbs look so fresh."
Random NPC 2: "Must be due to those mages."

I avoided the Twitch stream as I'm trying to cut down on the spoilers ahead of release but was it mentioned if followers always stay in the same place in Skyhold or if they can be found in different locations between missions, like the crew in ME3?

I believe the same area but they over time apparently make their areas more of their own, I assume their little areas will change a bit as you upgraded the castle.

Yeah I was kidding, it's odd. Then again I don't know, maybe it makes sense? I'm not really well versed in how the climate works in mountain castles.
In the newest trailer Solas *does* make it sound kind of special, though. And there are a bunch of Fade rifts doing weird ****. So it's possible!
